I just finished watching one of your videos from 5 years ago and you were teaching us all about e-file nail bits , their uses and how to safely remove some cuticle with the right bits and speed. I want to send you a million thank you for that video. Your video is absolutely THE BOSS of all videos about e-files and their effects. I have watched hundreds of videos on using the e-file and knowing what each bit is used for and no one has even come close to yours. I could go on and on about everything that I loved about your video but for me to sum it all up , YOUR VIDEO WAS PERFECTION . ❤❤❤

Hi there, Ive been watching a few of your videos for some time now. Im wondering if you’d be interested in reviewing Korean nail products. They’re becoming increasingly popular but I cant seem to find proper in-depth reviews on some products, specifically jello jello gel polishes and lamps :(

Hello! Thanks so much for this - is it necessary to use a primer at all…? Or should we go straight from dehydrator to base coat first. My nails are peeling after just a day or so …

Brilliant!! I have been packing for a trip, cleaning the house and putting away Christmas decorations. My hands are dry and I am working quickly. Split the top of my thumb nail close to the nail bed right before going for a manicure. I hope this works because it looks awesome! Thank you!

⚡️Absolutely! 💯Spot On!👏🏼👍🏽. Part of fulfilling the very necessary but unmet need is making it reasonably accessible and conveniently available to those who need it. Then it’s becomes Service and we become instruments✨🙏🏽💖

I’m 6 years late but can’t find a video for this question. I have the light elegance gen 3 dot lamp, and their gel paints, (not butter cream) After curing if I wipe with alcohol it seems the pigment comes off with the inhibition layer. Is this normal? Or is it not fully cured? I do light layers and cure for 1 minute. When using the P+ gel Polish the inhibition layer is clear. Thank you!
@TheNailHub9 күн бұрын
Hi Meesha. So since the inhibition aka tacky layer is in fact uncured gel there will be some pigment that comes off if you wipe it with cleanser. Especially noticeable on super pigmented gels like art gels or dark colors. If it’s gooey or a lot comes off then you might need to do thinner coats. But sounds like normal to me. The other added advantage of LE is it’s so forgiving. Since the liquid formula itself is hypoallergenic you don’t have to be as vigilant. Just an added bonus so you know that with a high quality formula there’s more forgiveness when it comes to possible curing errors.

@ thank you for responding so quickly. It gets my anxiety up. I did do a test today. I put 3 P+ gel polish colors on plastic wrap and the inhibition layer was not clear. So then this is true even with just the gel polish? Sorry I just want to make sure I understand correctly. Thank you!

Would blue light help disinfect/sterilize tools?
@TheNailHub9 күн бұрын
To a degree it can help but I would not use this as the primary way you disinfect. For example UV sterilizers don’t actually sterilize. But there is a good use for them for dry storage after you’ve properly cleansed your tools. I personally recommend either a liquid virucidal disinfectant like Barbicide (or similar product) or go full sterilization with an autoclave.

Hi, love your videos! When applying the base coat, before starting the extension process, do you cap the free edge like you would when just applying gel polish?
@TheNailHub6 күн бұрын
Yes, I like to create application habits so I follow the same process even if it’s not as necessary when doing extensions. That way you have the muscle memory to do it no matter what service you’re providing.

Isn’t it unhealthy for the nail bed to be buffed and polished rough?
@TheNailHub6 күн бұрын
The idea is you only prep the natural nail plate once and then proceeded with overlay so you’re not constantly removing and reapplying. True damage actually happens more from constant removal and re-application because that’s the number one way we over file and over buff the nail. And proper prep, the first time means you eliminate the risk of lifting, which again would lead to removal and re-application

Holy shit! Horror story with the gold foil trapping the heat. So glad I found your channel before I got too far into gels. I technically want to be able to get a hip replacement more than I want gel polish (resentfully). Lmao. We need a guide to your trusted brands. And is there a base coat or some type of protection I can use for an extra layer of protection between the gel and my nail, in addition to the gel’s base coat. I want to take this seriously I love my nails and nail art 😢

This is an ongoing conversation from at the point of when blackness met whiteness. We’re at the point in the conversation where we have more darker women achieve broader acclaim for their beauty than ever so it becomes even more interesting that they would lighten themselves given that context.

Hi, Liz. I really love watching you, I am learning a lot of things I didnt know I needed to know. I have acetone with purple color in in it. Should I look for a clear acetone to make my cleaner with. That could be why I have. I've done all the prep recommended by lots of people to figure out what I'm doing wrong, but I still have a bit of lifting a few days doing my nails. Also, I do my nails 💅 a little bit or in steps sometimes a few days apart. If I did them start to finish, would the polish and top coat seal the gel to the nail and prevent lifting.

This is so scary! I thought I was doing it all right at home. I switched to NiceDeco 100% HEMA-free, HPMA-free and TPO-free - Vegan and cruelty free meeting the US and EU standards Primer, Base coat and top coat. I try to be so careful now not to get anything on my skin. Nail lamp - is the next update, but curing longer because of my weaker lamp.Thank You for all you do!!!

I’ve got a SUN lamp x7 for 3 years, had no issues- until last month (November 2024) The only thing that comes to mind to why it happened is I got obsessed with using a filing bit to smooth out cuticles, which I think allowed the chemicals to seep through the skin. Which I don’t do now. And cure my nails now for full 60 seconds, which I used to do 30 seconds. And haven’t had any further issues with nail allergies.
