Hi I am a baby boomer generation. So do not take this wrong but you are giving to much personal information on your credit cards personal cards etc. on the KZbin we live in 2024 and there is such a thing as Identity Theft and there are some very weird people in these times. Love your videos on the journals though.

Your take on the "No Spend" makes so much sense. I'm pretty sure the "No-Spenders" are spending on groceries to eat. I always took it as people will "No Spend" on anything not essential.

How do all the books stay in the cover?
@torionpaper5 күн бұрын
There’s an elastic string on the inside of the binding that you stick your notebooks under! There are also things called connector bands so you can add more inserts so they don’t fall out

I loved the tn system but it was too much moving around with booklets for me and went to a bullet journal method where everything is just everywhere which really worked with my ADHD. But since I went digital in March I've gone back to separate journals for everything which has been great. I still use it like a bullet journal. I just set up my page templates up in canva and use them on my onyx boox note air 3c a color eink android tablet. It's improved my journaling from only every once in a while to daily. Alwas nice to see someone finding a system that works.
@torionpaper5 күн бұрын
Ah this is amazing to hear! Switching to digital seems so difficult so I applaud you for finding something that works so well. The bullet journal method is definitely something I have started gravitating to more, so I totally get the appeal. Thank you for being here <3

I'm thinking of switching to a TN setup.... I used Sterling Ink's A5 last year (basically a dupe of the Cousin) and I do like it, but this just seems to much more customizable.... What annoys me about the Common Planner is how my journaling stuff or commonplace stuff end up getting mixed in with my to-do list. I might want to look at the journalling stuff later... but it's mixed in with all these "go grocery shopping" reminders, lol. I think I could use the Sterling Ink weekly vertical booklet, and then two insert for dailies--one for to-dos and one for journaling/stuff I might want to read later. this video was really helpful in trying to decide, so thanks for that! I'd be really interested as to how you do an index for your commonplace, if you end up making a video about that!
@torionpaper14 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for sharing! I totally know what you mean about the customization and having a little more separation between things. I think that’s something that worked for me for a while but now I want to try compartmentalizing them a little bit more and see if I prefer it. I’m glad this video was helpful, definitely please keep me updated on what you end up deciding!
