Thanks, I only get this on my right foot when running. These help alot. I assume if I regularly do this it will strengthen rather that using orthotics to support my foot?

Cortisone decreases the amount of inflammation over the area for certain period of time, typically lasts for 6 weeks, but unless the mechanism of motion that causes inflammation changes, the pain from inflammation can always come back.

I was having this problem and I fixed it just by taking the shoelaces out of my sneakers. As I've gotten older my feet need more room at the top of the shoe and I also had to go to a larger size. No more foot pain and I turned my sneakers into slip-ons. Love it that I don't have to mess with tying laces anymore. :) (I just listened to the video. He recommends loosening your laces, but you can also just remove them, if that feels better, like I did.)

I got this 2 days ago by running barefoot for relatively long distances. Already starts to feel better... Massageing the painful spot is painful, but afterwards seems to help as well. Edit: Update 2 weeks later; pain is gone completely! Thanks! 😊

Hello, that is definitely not what I am expecting since the muscles are not going down to your elbow. Your arm position also matters. When you are pressing the muscles using other arm, keep your painful side positioning elbow straight and over the side of torso. Thank you for the comment!

I am very sorry that you are going through that. I won’t be able to find out your origin of pain until seeing you in person, but patients often have difficulties in activating middle and lower traps during exercises that targets those muscles, which ends up activating upper traps and that does not alleviate your symptoms. You can look for physical therapy that can assist your motion.
