One of the best ways to get an idea of how well the car has been re done is to look up under the dash. Trust me, it's not usually a place a flipper will expend resources (time, money). Look for dust from bondo sanding, rust, critter nests, etc.

Can’t recall what brand, but it was made for donks… I highly discourage it. Wheels were rocktrix and made for a jeep setup although it shared the same bolt pattern as the Buick. Had to cnc machine out the center bore to get it to fit the hub.

@@thatfaded89obs poor quality. It was essentially just cylindrical pipe with a flange to act as a spacer for the stock springs. No directions included and it’s up to your interpretation on how to cut the pipe to the right angle to ensure the driveshaft angle is proper.

As a five time owner of MGTFs I really enjoyed this video. I am so glad that I own a nice MGTF at this moment or this film would have killed me with desire. I also have a second MGTF but it is all apart awaiting restoration. Both my MGs are 1954 1250's as were all of my previous TFs. Thank you for this presentation. Take good care of that MG, she deserves loving care!!

So what's the update? Carburator is a Weber 32 DIR. Hole in the right wheel passage is the opening for the window washer fluid cannister. Filter below the main air filter container is another air filter connected to the air pump and used air injection in the exhaust manifold (air guard). New floor panels to be welded on the chassis can be found on french classic car sites. 123000 miles on the engine is not a challenge for this car.

I had a 1984 Renault 5 Le Car built for European market basically the same model, with different headlines and bumpers. Bought it in 1995. It had Alpine wheels and it drove amazingly smooth: indeed it was a French car. After 5 years of daily use rust ate also fundamental parts and repair would take way too much time and money and I decided to give up our little friend, sadly enough. Fortunately my girl and I could drive with Le Car to the townhall on the day we got married in May 2000. That was R5's last milestone. Lovely car, and yes, that same girl and I are still happy together, even without Le Car. I hope you'll treat yours well.
