i played re1 remake a year ago on xbox one, its pretty good but imagine if it was remade like re2 3 and 4

the problem with social links, it feels like they're each set in their own world. Anything you do in them doesn't directly affect the main story often. You just see their upgraded persona. So all that character development gained during them isn't showcased in main story cutscenes. P4G hunger arcana tho, it actually unlocks a different ending, I want more of that. While P5 locked usual JRPG features behind their social links, which I was not a fan of.

People dont really have good reasoning why a remake is justified, "because the game is 20 years old", so by that logic, RE7 should get a rrmake for an over shoulder perspective after 20 years?

I think the game desperately needs to be remade. Don't get me wrong, the original Remake is really good, but it's still hard to go back to, especially after Remakes 2 through 4.

It deserves a Remake...but I think C.V deserves a remake next, it just never got the love it truly deserves and in my opinion is a flawed masterpiece.

As someone who sucks at RE 1 and Remake and got lost in both games. I don’t think it should be RE-remade. Just seems unnecessary. Divert those resources to bug fixes and putting Awesome VR modes in a CV or RE:Ø remake.

I wonder how they will handle the giant spiders. After all they were cut from Remake RE2 and 3. Seeing the giant spiders would be tenfold more scarier especially, but considering how they weren’t prevalent in the newer games, would they get rid of giant spider boss.

for me i think RE7 was the scariest, followed by RE2MAKE, then the original trilogy, but besides that i think the games really just action games with horror elements (i still love them though; both RE4s are peak, and i really like that the remake focused a lot more on horror but still kept the insane goofy action of the original and made it work???)

what annoyed me the most about this synopsis of the production coming along is the minor focus on "steering away from environmental storytelling", which shouldnt be a surprise to anyone who has touched silent hill. the series set the tone for the psychological horror via its environment, the environment didnt tell the story your actions through the games did, hence why there's multiple endings dependent on what you did (the shiba inu ending is my favorite). all in all i just want the game to be out or have an actual estimate for release. tired of all this "releasing sometime in 20**"

I would also like to see the max level for part 3 to be at level 100

I would love to explore all of the regions we visited in rebirth going into part 3 as well as some new regions.

My prediction for the order is we Start either at Icicle inn or rocket town for cloud to tell another story on how he got separated, go to icicle inn, then travel the great glacier, climb Gaia’s cliff, then to the northern crater, go to Junon without cloud, get the high wind, go to Mideel, Tifa leaves the party and the chapter ends, a couple parts of the huge materia, return to Mideel, the big lifestream moment, Cloud returns to the party as a playable character and is his best self again, chapter ends, Cloud tells his story to start the chapter off, Cloud is officially back as the party leader, they head to the junon underwater reactor, then head to Rocket Town, after rocket town, head to Wutai, Wutai could get 2 seperate chapters due to how much build up this area had in remake and rebirth, then head back to cosmo canyon, then back to the forgot capital, and get the key underwater, then the big Midgar raid, and then I hope they flesh out the 7 day cycle for meteor approaching the planet after the party defeats shinra, and then the northern cave will be the home stretch for part 3, if we are to follow the original events of the original game.

Not gonna lie, in the ENTIRETY of the RE franchise, the only thing that truly made me uncomfortable (to the point I had to play the section with the volume muted) was that fucking fetus monster…….

The biggest question we have about part three is if Tifa and Cloud will do the deed. 😼

Whatever they end up doing I just really hope they add compendium fusion like in SMTV

On the Highwind... having parking spots akin to the Tiny Bronco as the teleport ready parking spots should be a default. Then a mix of ropeway and chocobo flight would allow for the freedom of dropping the party off almost anywhere (but still allowing some gameplay progression restrictions via available chocobos)
