From what I recall reading in our true timeline the USN had committed 111 warships in the Battle of the Phillipine Sea including 15 fleet aircraft carriers in mid June 1944. If this force had been sent to the Atlantic, the USN would have engaged the Royal Navy in open air sea warfare before invading Britain and probably inflicted massive casualties on the RN forcing its withdrawal from home waters. Of all the major powers only the USA could have undertaken a major naval landing of Britain. Thank you @warfare11gaming, excellent video!
