If you can afford it. Buy or DIY make a ultrasonic cleaner ( attach a audio speaker to a large metal tub and use 1000-4000hz frequency) to clean the resin cast.

I’ve always been fascinated by these castings!! I wish I could do something like this. I’d love to see a ground hornets’ nest, and a myriad of other things. So I think I’ll explore this channel a bit more. But I have to say, the boy without safety gear made me a bit nervous. Felt like he was a little too close for comfort a few times, especially after seeing the big explosion. And not sure I’d allow him to stomp out fires. But perhaps his shoes & pants are fire-retardant. Or more likely, I’m just over-protective. I used a plasma cutter once, and even that was nerve-wracking. Liquid metal is scary!! Lol

Everyone upset about losing the nests. It’s for education purposes, now young children can see this in the museum and learn how a nest is set up.
