System Recovery is for weapons that jam/stun you. Shock/Stagger are not included. But it's so extremely niche, it's pretty much useless.

how would you distribute the stats in a lvl 200 version of this build?

Just noticed a thing on the google doc: tell me if i'm wrong here, but the table for dual-wielding staves for lusat's + a staff looks improperly set up? The column doesn't refer to the lusat's spellbuff in the K column, but the carian regal scepter's spellbuff in the C column? The information of how dual wielding compares vs lusat's seems like it should be setup as a comparison vs lusat's even with the higher FP cost, but it paints a different picture of when dual wielding is a good idea, with no staff other than staff of loss showing a green value since lusat's staff's full spellbuff gets multiplied by those values. I only stumbled on this when thinking about theoretical ways to deal MAX max damage with spells in general if given infinite stat points to play with, what spells just deal the most raw damage per second to an enemies' healthbar.

Do people find the scaling values by looking at the game files in the PC version? I always have to use build calculators online to help tweak my builds since I don't know how to check the values on PS5 without using a larval tear and then testing the attack with different stat distros

another thing i like to do with beast claw on my dex-int melee mage is put up a greatblade phalanx, and then rush people down with the claw moveset! the Raging Beast AoW can mix up the timing the blades fire off, or even combo into it. and the feint attack works nice with them, too
@spairus44925 күн бұрын
Also, there are some combo options that lead to the second heavy attack animation. I find those to be almost as powerful as the powerstanced last light attack skips. The best one is probably the 1H running light attack into the heavy attack. But I also like the 2H R1-R1-R2, which allows you to initiate with the poke, and also roll out of the first 1 or 2 attacks if you don't want to commit, say vs a boss. Also all jumping heavies lead to the second heavy attack when you jump-R2-R2, so it's pretty nice for closing distance and maintaining dps (kinda like the Knight's Greatsword Jump-R1-R1 combo).

@dylans879313 күн бұрын
You should pick just faith or int. Because they up their weapon arts respectively. So then you only use fire or mage weapon art. Get the most damage for the least stats. Yet it's not as versatile

I personally use dragonbolt blessing in addition to the hardtear. Keep in mind you lose resistance to lightning, but the description of the spell literally says "attacks become easier to deflect".

I really wish putting "no skill" on a right hand weapon would let you use the left hand weapon art without having to swap. Id love to put together a main hand misericorde build with an offhand greatsword with impaling thrust, or an offhand ice spear lance. I find that with glintblade and redmanes nerfed, there's no stagger builds anymore. Stagger and stance breaks are just a "bonus" now; you get them on builds as icing on the cake, rather than making it the main focus. I wish they didn't nerf glintblade phalanx, and that when they nerfed flame of the redmanes, they nerfed the damage to near zero, instead of the stance damage, or nerfed the damage to near zero, and the stance damage to 35. To me, it feels like "pure" stance builds are dead and gone. Now it's all hybrid stance breaking builds; you *can* stance break, but so can everyone else, and its never the *main* purpose of your build anymore.

The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't. In the event that the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was. The missile guidance computer scenario works as follows. Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. However, it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subtracts where it should be from where it wasn't, or vice-versa, and by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn't be, and where it was, it is able to obtain the deviation and its variation, which is called error.

Came to this old video to sing the praises of the Lordsworn's Straight Sword, which functions very well on elemental infusions due to it having the highest split attack power of all the Straight Swords that have a 110 Critical modifier, making it the most damaging option when used for Critical attacks. Make it Sacred with Sacred Blade, buff yourself with Golden Vow, then go Backstab and Parry Fishing with the Dagger Talisman, your "Lothric Knight Sword" and an offhand Brass Shield with Carian Retaliation and Shield Grease. Note: If you have 15 Mind you can use Sacred Blade five times, or Golden Vow/Great Heal twice, before needing to drink any blue. You can also chuck out a Frenzyflame Stone to create a "mini arena" that you can circle people inside of in search for a Backstab, since people tend to gravitate towards the healing cloud either to heal or to try and get you out of it.

interesting, but too long and tedious to collect. for example, I don't play ng+ at all, which means that after I get bored, the character is simply deleted. and putting too much effort into side passage and bosses is simply laziness. by the way, based on the above, my favorite character is a mage with death poker.

Unspent load capacity doesn't make you faster, it's just that leftover load capacity means you're lighter, and being lighter makes you faster. If you're at 50k weight with the highest load capacity biped legs possible, you boost the same as with the lightest biped legs, despite huge unspent load capacity
@Chrightt24 күн бұрын
That's weight, not energy load. My generator video is talking about unspent energy load which makes your energy recharge faster.

@Chrightt you did go "like how having unspent weight capacity helps you go faster" when talking about unspent EN
I was hoping this would be similar to Heysel's Pick in DS3, but the sorcery scaling doesn't keep up. Heysel did a nice job with that pick, it hit hard melee but also did really good cast damage.

is there any more precise info on the 2h jump R1->crouch R1 cancel thing? am i correct in seeing that there are 2 frames, after the animation starts but before the hitbox is active, that the jump R1 needs to be "cancelled?" i can't seem to figure it out no matter what i try. i'm getting the sense that it's not hitting the landing R1 i'm messing up, it's hitting the 2 frame cancel window at the same time. if i press R1 twice too rapidly its seems to eat the input on a landing R1 just like on a neutral R1, whereas if i delay the R1 slightly, it buffers a normal follow-up... (double tapping R1 rapidly seems to work to buffer a followup for like 65% of the jump R1 animation though, from ascent to slightly after the peak of the jump)

After completing SotET primarily with daggers as main hand weapons, I can safely say that neither Keen nor Lighting Great Knife are worth it. Frost is okay, due to the mixed status build up. However, in my experience poison and occult are best for this weapon. I have a hard time justifying using it even for those infusions, as Reduvia exists and a Poison Misericorde still gets a decent critical.

I find Lansseax’s glaive to be a really good exploration tool, especially in catacombs. It’s a 2-hit aoe, and the blade part can clip through walls, and it staggers/knocks down gargoyles.
