I've made the mistake on several occasions (over the years) by closing the door with the seat belt in a position where it's between the rear of the door panel and rubber seal. The result was a damaged area (about the size of a silver dollar) where the door panel material started to flake off. I resealed the area and color matched it the best I could, it's not noticeable with the door closed but I know it's there. I just wanted to mention this so none of the viewers on this channel makes the same mistake as I did, especially since these panels are getting tougher to find. Informative video Mark, keep them coming...

Would love to be working on my Z3, but it has been too damned hot to do much of anything outside, between 100 and 110 for weeks. This changing climate is taking its toll, as we have never experienced such stretches of unbearably hot weather. Unlike you, fortunately for us, we do not have any humidity. Of course I can't do anything for the poor Z, unless I installed a roll-up garage door in my living room and kept the car in the air conditioned house. Nope, not going there! My wife is not supportive of this idea. Gosh, may have to just build a new garage having AC! Nope, not going there! Wife again -----🙃

I’m in the process of refreshing the front end of my Z3. I decided to go with the Sachs brand to keep it all stock. One thing I realized, you didn’t install the bump stop. I’m not sure maybe you don’t need one with koni struts but in the stock setup, you put the bump stop into the dust tube and that clicks on your strut so it will stay in place and bumb stop will reduce the impact. FYI My old bump stops were crumbling like staled cake so you may lost yours long time ago since they all over 20yrs old😂

Hi I just did the repair of the sagging glove box, and I too was able to accomplish it without removing the glove box. I just took out those 4 screws like the other viewers suggested. I also removed the metal plate from the bottom of the glove box. We found a mouse nest underneath that I had to pop out another tab to get access to so I could remove it!
