Tip for Slasher newbies (or even veterans that don't know this trick) Most of you guys probably know to refire your knives from corners and walls but I have a trick that really helped me that kinda used this technique. I was dealing with an infinite looping Gabrielle in purgeton and we were at the loop with lockers nearby. When she was looping and behind the lockers, I charged up my knives in the next direction she'd go through and finally killed her. I think this will help dealing with those annoying loopers.

Question to chat and those around, how does shadow slash function? I like the char and wanna get better, but my shadow slash always takes like 15 seconds to fire, vs ppl who can almost instantly

Honestly, i play him more on his mimic side. His human side can lock doors.and disable objective, pair that with perks that trigger when knocking people, and it can make a pretty nasty chain reaction.

i think ur point on arlo's weakness is good but i dont think that this buff necessarily overshadowed arlo as much as people say it does- arlo's shield is still longer, his speed boost is still better and idk i still think arlo is doodoo but i dont think this change really made him worse or at least as bad as people said he was- 3 seconds vs 8 is a big difference granted in that same radius, 1) arlo will be reviving a LOT faster than the person farming and 2) the shield is longer, so arlo can chain multiple quick revives.. which again is super niche but i just dont think the mechanic really overshadowed arlo that much, and if its too good i think they'll probably nerf it again but i think the fact that the ability is as niche as arlo's but a lot more tuned back is already enough to make it less valuable than arlo but still a solid function... if it was still 4s or even 5 arlo would definitely be even less worth using but i dont think 3 is that big of a deal.. idk tho ALSO i think brenda said the ability to disable revives wouldnt be coming simply bc teamers and griefers would have so much fun with that, and i believe that suggestion was what actually prompted this discussion and ultimately the reason the basekit addition even got added

Why'd they have to go and invalidate my main like that. The fast revives are still great but the shield isn't as impactful anymore since everyone gets it. I've started playing other survivors more anyway but just why?

Also the thing is, with the revive shield, if people hate this issue so much, Arlo literally grants a shield for 3.5 seconds when HE gets healed. They can literally play Arlo and the problem is fixed. Granted, he's not as fun to play as Mamo, Nathan or any commonly used main but if you don't want to get farmed, you yourself have to make some sacrifices yk?

I've been having trouble destroying the morbid angel. Like I can't do anything when I try to destroy it, there's no action button or anything. Ive only seen one person actually destroy an angel once but I can't seem to do it.

although the revive changes are iffy i absolutely adore the vault block increase, my main problem with the game is how playing as the killer is generally so boring due to the fact youll only loop in one area or even one spot and either u catch up or u fail, both a lose lose due to the fact u lost time and will possibly force to genlock (literally most boring part of the game)

I also want the developers to fix the hitbox of daybreak 2 because it's just really annoying that you're like in the opposite end of the loop and then you get hit by a attack from 5 meters away from you.

Can u play infected next?

I love the game, but the community can’t decide what’s right for balancing in this game, so the game feels ever so clunky and awkward. Just when I get comfortable with playing a new character they end up getting nerfed heavily or over-buffed and it’s suddenly awkward learning all over again. And more characters end up in balancing discourse which makes some people very salty or toxic about you playing certain characters. It’s a tiring never ending cycle. I think this is a common trend in Asymmetric Multiplayer Horror games, but it leaves me feeling tired about it.
