This is a terrible video for showing how to thread this machine! I stopped watching during the threading instruction, as he kept putting his hands in front of the camera, making it difficult to see exactly where you aree putting the thread. No thanks.

I just started a factory job and I use this machine all day, 8 hours a day and all I can say is that it is a great machine. I am constantly surprised at how much material it can sew through..my company makes tactical gear and man can it sew. I hope I can purchase this machine in the future so I can make bags and wallets. I give this machine nothing but praise and I love my job..i get to sew all day and make stuff how cool is that.

Check the manual, usually there's an adjustment knob / screw above the head of the machine, directly above the presser foot.

I always wondered why these needles have round shanks. Seems like a super design flaw. Why not have needles like the ones on domestic machines, where it's impossible to misalign the needle?

Thank you! Changing 59 was really great as I always hated how quickly it took off. 55 didn’t do anything for me but it’s possible I just don’t have that functionality. As for like tacks, pressing the ABCD button doesn’t do anything for me. But I don’t use line racking anyway. Still, this is the only video I could find that actually covered this stuff!

Damn dude! They sure have improved that machine! The lift is what I noticed. I'm actually buying three different machines this spring. I need another Consew RB 1 head only and a new wooden top. Also I need a good used duel needle feed. You got me looking at new stuff now. I thought the new heads were gay. Not this one. The 1508 is cool too. This year I'm making body armor. Street rods and muscle cars as well as boat tops is actually getting boring. This new endeavor is more money and less hassle. Damn I'm so glad I saw this video!!!!! Thanks man.😁💰💰💰💰💰💰💰😎

Just keep shooting six inch squares until the back side quits mutating. There's more to it than that. Experimentation is your best friend. Also, I bought a Juki 1541S. Fuck Consew. I'll never go back. I'm switching over to servo motors. My table is so light weight. Trying to find decent real estate for a good price is non existent.
