I just started a factory job and I use this machine all day, 8 hours a day and all I can say is that it is a great machine. I am constantly surprised at how much material it can sew through..my company makes tactical gear and man can it sew. I hope I can purchase this machine in the future so I can make bags and wallets. I give this machine nothing but praise and I love my job..i get to sew all day and make stuff how cool is that.

Your video is excellent, but it's titled for a DNU 1542. But in your description, you say "1541". Confusing for those of us learning.

I am pretty sure the thread is supposed to go thru the rectangular shaped opening under before it goes through the thread guard on the needle bar.

Can't decide on the 1541s or the 1508n what are the main differences, can the 1541s take 207 thread?

I always wondered why these needles have round shanks. Seems like a super design flaw. Why not have needles like the ones on domestic machines, where it's impossible to misalign the needle?

Your machine has two lamps, my 1541 has one large one, can I install a small one on the front? Or it’s only for 1541s?

I bought mine from Amazon for 10 bucks a few yrs back. It looks just like the small one he has. It might cost a few bucks more now. Hope u find it
