Nice usefull easy build. I built a version with *two opposite modes:* it either _mutes the sound_ when the switch is pressed, or it's _always mute_ and sound passes through when it's pressed. kzbin.infoo3MDobqumDI

I wish it was this easy with a Blackstar amp! The fuse carrier is of a similar nature but you have to push down, turn to lock. They are spring loaded also, but it's impossible to get them to lock down into place. So now I have an amp which is now useless as the fuses won't fix in place. Great video by the way.....I just wish Blackstar was as easy as this.

Question from the back. What software would you use to actually play music on the keyboard? I've got MuseScore but that seems to be for writing musical scores, not making music with a keyboard.

hi not sure if this will work but I made a racing sim setup with an old membrane keyboard and if you solder two wires together onto the board and then solder those wires to a button then open up a notepad you can make the keyboard type letters depending which two solder joints you wired together, Would this not be a much cheaper solution instead of an Arduino you buy an old membrane keyboard and create a bunch of shortcuts on the program for record clear loop etc. just a thought

You should try it. Or... why don't you look up Korg USA's revenue, first. It's estimated revenue is in the range of $30-100 million. It's a tiny company with a few hundred employees. If you think that making electronic music instruments and effects is a good business, then I have an Apple for you. ;-)

The awful guitar plunking is annoying and someone who cannot play very well. The cleanup and re-glue is basically OK and done 'by the book'. Old Yamahas had very nice tuners could use cleanup and lubrication at the friction points to let them move freely.

The key is in the wiring... What this schematic is doing is basically a short circuit between tip and sleeve when the switch is pressed... so it´s an ON switch still

This video did not age well. Tried to build this a few years ago, and it didnt work out, got back to it now, same issue. Here they are. 1. Sonnit looper doe not exist anymore - you might want to update the link - Mobius is so hard to work out, and every video tutorial on it has disappeared, really frustrating. 2. your arduino code misses files, such as the MIDI.h file, it does not compile without it. other codes available "seem" to work, but are for different boards. 3. even with midi passthrough on the arduino, any sort of alternative comms, devices or lights seems to absent from your vid, either you are hella good at figuring things out, or there is a fair bit missing from your video, or everything is now outdated/ an pdate and revamp of your board (going into a little further detail) would be really awesome. Cheers

Hi My daughter who's a senior in high school is trying to build a pedal as well. She came up with some of the same issues as you.. Was wondering how you ended up getting past the arduino code that's missing the midi h file? If u happen to see this a little help or guidance for her would be greatly appreciated. Thx🙂
