I didn't know trombonists write with so many superlatives. Interesting.

High school student here. I'm planning on learning this piece as solo rep that I could use in the future, maybe for college auditions or other performances. I stumbled upon your video after watching your performance (amazing tone might I add) and this helped me get a better idea of how I want the music to speak to my listeners. The background and context gives meaning to the title and the dots on the page, so thank you so much! I enjoy all of your performances :D

Jeremy I like this explanation; you know why ? Because you have explain it from the viewpoint of Fenomenoly. - the science which explains the arrangement of musical elements in time and space .

8th grader trombone here from southeast Texas. Playing this is a young artists competition in January. This piece is super fun to play. Working on low range, which means I’m working on my higher range as well. I’m going against a peer who is playing Morceau Symphonique. Both are very beautiful pieces. I listen to this everyday to get familiar with the sound and emotion. Thanks for sharing!

I have no idea why Weber thought that the trombone is an appropriate instrument for a romance; I am shocked that it turned out this good.

It truly sounds like a bird lamenting its time in a cage, wishing to see what's beyond those bars. Though at the end, I can happily assume it found out what's beyond the blue sky. As a trombonist, your sound is a goal I'd like to achieve one day! Thanks for the amazing video!
