I think an update on this video would be a good idea. I live near Burloak and it takes me 20 mins to get to the RBG… and that is going along Lakeshore. There are loads of transit buses that run often and the go train is never busy… I’ve never had to stand going in or out of Burlington to Toronto… even during rush hour. Our 4 bed house cost half of what was stated in the video.

Like most towns around Toronto … a nice but tiny downtown where most of the small local shops have been replaced by chains like Timmies etc, no bike lane infrastructure at all. Exclusive but small and limited old neighborhoods with nice homes that most ppl will never be able to afford. Malls, highways, condos ….

Nice video! It's a great city, all-in-all. My partner and I moved here seven years ago from a major European city, and Toronto has NOT, thus far, confirmed all the "horror" stories we had been told about the city prior to coming here: high cost of housing? Still cheaper than a large European city, at least in terms of renting; very cold and minus 30 degree, 7-month winters? A complete myth. True, I've felt minus 20, but only on a few nights during the whole winter. Commuting time. Oh yeah, this one is a bit of a nightmare😆 But the biking opp's are good, which can cut down on it. I've rode my bike all winter, too. The only thing that I've been a bit taken aback by is that it's not so "clean" (which is what you hear about Canada when you're living abroad): reality is that there is garbage / plastics all over the streets here.
