I will say that growing up in Alberta set a tone for me that strangers would be friendly but then I lived in Vancouver & Toronto for a bit and I guess bigger cities are just busier so everyone is more to themselves/not as friendly up-front

I would say that one major con with respect to living in Ajax is it tends to be distant from everything. I know that my uncle Guy and his wife Karen moved out to Ajax in 1986 (from where they had previously lived in the Upper Beach area of Toronto). In turn, they moved to Thornhill within a year later in 1987 (because Karen felt so isolated being away from her friends living out in Ajax).

Thank you so much for your honesty. I have actually been trying to find out what you do learn in the courses to become an agent. This was revealing an extremely helpful so thanks much. I come from a job filled with compliance and all the boring crap some of which never seems to come up but you are forced to keep on top of the new changes of that type of learning regardless . However, the high pressure sales environment combined with the need to constantly generate new leads and new sales and higher and higher sales volumes of course, directly carries over to the real estate industry. I appreciate your refreshing honesty coming across like a real person that I can relate to thanks again❤

I would recommend doing your own research whatever path you take. Expecting school to prepare for works is not a wise choice in most fields

Was in Canada in 2001 visiting all my Family, Aunts Uncles, Cousins, and went to Toronto for a week, very much like New York city. I love Canada and miss it so much. San Diego California is my home and birthplace, but my heart is in Canada still.

Scarborough is a dodgy place. The ppl are troubled. I used to live here and I had bad experiences living here encountering sketchy ppl. This place has a bad reputation. The carribean ppl, Jamaicans, the Tamils and other groups came to Scarborough and living in Scarborough strarted casing trouble with drugs, crime, guns violence, and gangs. I really don’t like Scarborough ppl. Good thing I don’t live in Toronto no more

Hi, would 90k per annum be enough to live a decent lifestyle and still save as a single expat? Assuming apartment rental, car and dining out 2-3times per week. Also, I'd like to know what the crime rate is like, do you feel safe there?

What about Palermo West. It has newer and nicer homes and one of the best parks in all of Oakville - Valleyridge Park. Also this neighborhood is right next to Bronte Creek.

I spent eleven years living in Toronto and I believe Mississauga is much better. Still though, I see no reason why someone would choose to live in Toronto and not an American city, like Miami.
