I grew up in Unionville (Markham) my parents bought homes here for 100 grand in the 80's and now they are worth over 1.4 million!! It was a great safe place to grow up, however it is crazy to buy anything there now. Driving in Markham is very dangerous as the worst drivers live there. You really must drive defensively while trying to antisipate what others drivers are doing.
