It's wild watching the events of Black Mesa this way cause, as playing as Gordon you don't really grasp the possibility that this man has gone through one of the most traumatic events in his life or all of mankind for that matter. You just run and gun and take out literally anything you stumble across but this literally shows moments were Gordon realistically reacts, detatches from reality for a moment, and genuinely seems horrified.

When their only experience of humanity was a crowbar coming at them down a steel corridor.

This whole series looks great, we can actually see a adaptation that really sets in how brutal, dark, and chaotic the Black Mesa incident was. Even though it's just a adaptation, this makes the Black Mesa incident feel difficult if not impossible to survive with all the dangers. Gordon feels real as well, his emotions, actions, and movement. They all make him feel like everyone else in the facility, just trying to survive and being a witness to a disaster that'd likely haunt him in the future. And the fact he is limited to hold two or one weapon is a amazing touch since he has no where to store the weapons. I do hope this series continues, though I wonder how Gordon will handle himself when it comes to facing against the HECU.

Time for the big action movie segments, im pretty excited.

Making Gordon "a man of few words" makes sense, we never hear Freeman talk as the player or ever really, but he must speak. in gameplay pressing the use key elicits responses from NPC's, How'd the BMRF staff or rebels accept orders or interactions, there isn't a use key IRL, you use hands/your voice, or gesturing at worst to communicate. maybe Freeman communicates via hand signs, or maybe we just don't hear freeman talk because Valve didn't get voce actor, haha. But what I mean is why'd the Guards says "yeah, lets run like hell" unless Freeman says "let's go."

клево снято, разве что не очень понятно, с хрена ли он дропнул шлем, ему и с ним было норм, вроде. позабавило, как от получения костюма, он двигался как робот из старых фильмов, а к концу привык/освоился, и почти нормально ходил.
