Great video! Can you please make a green screen video? Interested in low-budget meeting use-cases. Don't want my hair to be all swirly.

October 03, 2024. I don't know if you read the messages but I hope you will. Some time ago I started investing in webcams and purchased 6 Hikvision webcams and a Lindy camera. I've been studying brands for years because I can't afford foolish purchases. I also have an option for Anker or Dell - 4K version. I choose to use webcams for everything including surveillance. Can't anyone understand how frustrating it can be to NOT BE ABLE to UNDERSTAND all things IP, networking, PORT...I'm really feeling the hate!!!! Hikvision deserves all the attention. On another note, you are an INCREDIBLE woman. A form of anxious depression and I can consider you a treat for me because of all you do and because you exist! I WANT you to be well! Anytime. And...I hope...you didn't bare your left shoulder at some point. Love you!

Thank you for your video, I have a canon EOS and would like to ask for your recommendation on the optimal camera settings for video shooting inside the studio to produce the studio image quality. Thanks again.

I usually hate these types of videos and would rather just find an article for this, but I wanted more ideas. Plus, I'm super hesitant to commit to 10+ minutes, lol. But I just forced myself and actually enjoyed this. Thanks for making this fun and interesting!

this is great! do you have any recommendations for those of us with glasses that show reflections on screen?
@KerryBuchanan5 ай бұрын
This doesn't really answer your question, but have you consider the anti-glare coating for your glasses? I have that on mine and it makes a world of difference. My glasses look like I don't have any lenses in them at all, on camera lol. It's great, but you do have to take extra care of them when cleaning. For example, you can never use a cleaner with any percentage of alcohol. That will destroy that coating immediately. I learned this the hard way. It's immediate regret, haha

Allow me to save anyone watching this video a lot of time and money… this is a perfect example of a “fake it until you make it“ type of “educational” video being performed by someone that very clearly has no idea what they were talking about whatsoever. They don’t even know the difference between a broadcast headset and a telecommunications headset. I think that alone is enough to say that this is a garbage video based on no actual experience or knowledge whatsoever about audio or microphone clarity.

Come back! KZbin needs you! Your presentation skills are excellent and analyses spot on. A little funny at times too (on purpose). OH and congratulations on getting the Shure SM7B. You sound fantastic! QUESTION: What audio interface are you using with the Shure?

Would you advise one to film a vlog using Zoom? I have read that the quality is not good enough, but maybe using HD is?
@FranciscaRigaud6 ай бұрын
That sounds great, to change the colour of the Word document but what is that for? When I am filming myself I am looking at myself on the screen, not a Word document and if I am on Zoom, for example, I am maybe looking at the other participants, so again not at a Word document? Could you maybe explain what the Word document is for?
@forrestgump12347 ай бұрын
Awesome, that's exactly what I've been searching for. Yes, the answer is USB condenser mic. But here's a following question, since most zoom meetings are interactive, what would be your listening device? Speakers of the laptop, or a Monitor headphone? In this case, I would say a pair of quality headset or airpods are more convenient.

Hi, I teach courses via Zoom and Teams. I bought a Rode NT-Mini mike but it picks up the audio from my laptop speakers and creates an echo. I bought cordless earbuds but the battery runs out much to soon (my courses are 4-8 hours long). I don't like earbuds with a cord. Do you have any suggestions for how I can use my Rode NT mini mike but avoid the echo?

Ok, I really think you make great videos! You have great content, you're thorough, but I'm upset you left the US to leave us to our own decision making about lighting, webcams, etc. AAAAAAARRRGH! Decisions, decisions!!! You should continue to make video content as you are so great at it. Anyway, thank you for the great videos and advice. I did end up buying the Logitech Brio and I love it! Thanks again. Move back to the US!

The Razer Kiyo Pro with a small 1/2.8" sensor got a huge upgrade to the Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra with the biggest sensor of all webcams at 1/1.2". No other webcam comes close and it is the closest you can get to a DSLR. At $300 it's not cheap but it's a lot simpler to set up than a DSLR. There's a cheaper option with the Mokose 4K camera with 1/1.7" sensor, and that allows you to use your own lens. The camera costs $155 but you will need another $30 to $60 for a good prime lens and you need some plumber's tape to keep the lens tight. Note that it's manual focus only, but I prefer that anyways for stable video. Having a more telephoto lens makes it easier to have a green screen since you don't need one as big. I have a $2000 DSLR but I didn't want it in my permanent desktop and dance studio setup, so I use the two webcams above and they are great.
