The OG Ricochet helped me to 869 in 2004. There's a reason why this ball came back. It's definitely a different motion in your bag. Get one!

For me, whether it's an asym or sym as a top price point, what matters is versatility and performance. Many top of the line balls can be one trick ponies. That seems harder to purchase than this one from C300.

Being an “older” bowler with not that much revs, seems that No Doubt might fit my game. Helping me stay a little starter.

As long as it does what I need when I need it, I don't care which core it has. Both are fun to throw.

So it depends what you're looking for, typically big asymmetricals tend to be more forward off the spot while big symmetricals are typically more even and continuous. Personally if I'm paying a lot I lean toward the asyms because I want to know the ball is going to get into it's roll early as someone with a bit of hand and higher ball speed (500ish @ 18-19 mph off hand) who's main house has super slow back ends and almost no free hook.

Do you ever notice that your ball speed changes with the different grits of the bowling ball?

I can listen but it all depends on the ball u like u might like that Ricochet but if I through it it won’t do the same thing you do. I was a Colombia 300 guy then I switched too storm

Would rather pay more for a versatile ball that rolls great than get a deal on a 15lb door stop

Unless your getting balls for free, they all cost to much and are every bit as bad of an investment as a new car. Sym balls should be 1/2 the price of asym. Give the public a break for just once.
