You never "stole" anything from those villagers. I have researched villagers, their culture, and why they were added to Minecraft. The villagers are happy to share whatever they have with you. You can even redecorate their buildings if you want. In fact, you're meant to. The only thing those villagers consider to be immoral is attacking/killing them.

In the one block at a time update you actually stack multiple mobs on top of each other simply by picking them up one by one. Using that, you can build massive towers of mobs.
