the power scaling is always off with him they show him in his one shot scenes as a god 1 hit and then when its time to fight a opponent he is struggling the damage radius is smaller he gets beat up alot they dont scale it well at all if the enemy is that strong the fight ought to be better

This is my favorite episode of the TYBW Arc, sometimes you don't always need to have a good fight to make an Anime good when a backstory can really make it just as interesting as the fights, I really enjoyed Bazz and Jugram backstory and wanted more of it.

Best? Debatable On of the better? Yeah

I like to think that Bazz accepting the L in the fight was his way to force himself to acknowledge Jugo, losing to him doesn't feel so bad because A he is stronger and B it's his friend after all and it kinda felt like Jugram understood which is why his memories of bazz echoed in his mind after reluctantly killing him

Full ring arc is above it for me but yes this is a top tier one

i could be over looking it but at the end of the episode while Jugram is walking up the stairs he cant even walk straight losing his balance, idk but i think its kinda symbolic that his shrift is the balance and he was struggling to walk straight at the end of their fight.

Although they choose different paths , Hash could relate to Uryuus friend struggle , which made him suspicious. But when you think about it, Has still choose to protect his friend by disarming him, quite literally, vs killing. Side note: it’s also quite funny how many people Bach let into his army despite knowing they would turn on him. I guess he saw it as inconsequential. #allmighty lol

I honestly feel like this whole series was kinda rushed.. I just wish they took their time a lil more

I'm sure your intentions are to be positive. But I find it hard to agree this episode is the best episode. The episode was servicable but it wasn't like anything to write home about in the grand scheme of bleach as a whole. The series is more interesting when you look at the whole picture.

It's definitely top 2 or top 3 but for me, the blade is me and the zaraki unohana one were too special

The thing to remember is that Jugram never really hated Yhwach the same way Bazz did. He only went along with it because that was Bazz's goal. Yhwach killed Bazz's entire family and destroyed his legacy; it makes sense that he wants Yhwach dead. Jugram, on the other hand, had his abusive uncle killed. I wouldn't be surprised if, deep down, Jugram was always at least a little grateful to Yhwach.

1:19 I'm not exactly sure what you mean here, but I would just like to point out that I'm pretty sure the quincies self-designated themselves to living in the "world of the living", aka the human realm.. but if you meant "world of the quincies" in the sense of... a Quincy Society :v then okay. Plus I suppose the existence of a reverse london in BtW might also imply the possibility of the quincies having lived in that same reverse realm or a similar but different one, just like how they were living in the schatten bereich after the war. At the end of the day though, it's pretty obvious that Kubo uses real life folklore, myths, and religions as his sources of inspiration. I'd argue that reverse london as a concept might be inspired from the idea of the realm of the fae.

People tend to not understand Jugram's side. Jugram didn't really have a home with Bazz either. Bazz is a narcissist who yes were somewhat nice to Jugram, but he only cared about himself. They never really trained together, Jugram was left to swing his sword all day all night while Bazz shoot his arrows and flex his power. Bazz was too egoistic to really have a wholesome training moments with Jugram. He just always think he's better. After that whole thing happen, Bazz never apologise either even in his last words. Bazz is tunnel vision and he changed his focus to defeating Jugram instead. There's no talking to Bazz and Jugram said it himself. Jugram even shout Bazz full name to try stop the fight. He never wants to hurt Bazz even if they fell out. He also can't stop Yhwach from Auswalen. So wtf does Bazz wants him to do? All Bazz wanted was pointless fight to try and show that he's the better one. But he also knew he was weaker so wtf.

The reason this episode hits so hard for me is because it punches far above its weight class on what shonen like Bleach usually are. As insightful as they can be, these series usually don't have a messaging that's deeper than vaguely-optimistic "power of friendship/connection" stuff. Even Uryu's betrayal and "double agent reveal" doesn't hit as hard as this because it was on some level expected and clearly telegraphed as a false face-heel turn (and even people who thought he was truly going "bad" never received any justification for it until the opposite was revealed). But Jugram and Bazz B's relationship is decidedly darker, and Jugram's psychology in general carries the archetype of an abuse victim that is portrayed staggeringly relatedly and realistically, like the type of stuff you'd see in complex therapy cases and real-world tragedies. And that realness and tragedy cuts through what is otherwise a relatively feel-good story about self-acceptance and trusting your friends, because sometimes that just doesn’t work out.

The fight was short but holy the emotion and animation behind it was top notch

jugram dealing with everything makes perfect sense for why he went to yhwach, he also probably didnt care about his home being destroyed really at all because the only thing at home for him was his uncle.
