Thank you so so much! It's the best tutorial on the internet for my Pfaff. But what I struggled with for hours was trying to thread it in the left path. I hope my comment would be helpful to those who watched all the videos and read the manual and still couldn't get the part about "move the thread right to left". Even your video is the best quality and the cam shows the details. What I actually would like to add is: For threading the left path: Hold your thread on top with one hand, and under the path with the other hand. Make sure the needle is up. Then insert the thread from the right side of the path, and try moving it to the left, and catch the thread into the narrow space you can see going from top right to bottom left if you're standing above your machine. It looks so simple now. But really I got stuck there😂

Very informative video…thank you! One correction, however. It’s called a presser foot, not a pressure foot. When someone adjusts the amount of force applied to the fabric by the presser foot, it’s referred to as adjusting the presser foot pressure. Bit of a tongue twister!

With the Needle Threader, no one mentions it will NOT thread all needles. That being said, I broke my needle threader( the part that goes through the needle eye) just after 10 months of owning my machine. I wish someone would have mentioned that, it would have been helpful to me and I’m sure others.

I'm watching your first video on the Creative Icon. This is likely the best demo of this machine I've ever seen. I got very little from my dealer. I'm keeping this in my saved videos to refer back to.

Hello! One question please: on the left side from the display, i saw a scissor symbol. Means this if ipressit cuts the threads automaticcaly? I find it helpful forquilting big blankets but hereyou used the cutter on the side of the mashine. Thank you for informations about this Paff. I wanted a Juki 2010 but it's not available in my country.

I’m a couple of years late watching videos on the Creative Icon and Creative Icon 2, but I really appreciate how thorough your instructions are. I have a Creative Performance, which is no longer in production. I love the IDT feature and all the useful and beautiful stitches on it. I bought it without the embroidery unit because I have other machines that embroider. My daughter has a Creative Sensation Pro and is considering a new top of the line machine. She’s been a die-hard Pfaff fan, but has had consistent issues with her Creative Vision, Creative Sensation, and Creative Sensation Pro, each owned at different times. All the issues are associated to the Active Stitch Technology, unfortunately. As a result, she’s now considering two different brands for her next top of line machine. She really wants to stay with Pfaff, but has grown weary with the unresolved issues.

Where is the promised video on the use of specialty feet for the Opal 650? When I put in a search, there isn't one. I would like more information about using my machine online. I shouldn't have to run into the store for each new foot.

OMG found your video again. My daughter got a costume (bought at the last minute as this is when she told me she needed it!! Turns out it had buttons but no buttonholes. I haven't ever done one and found your video again. It saved me I was able to follow your instructions which were easy to follow, including how you marked the button marking line (another video I did just did the I Marking) and you included how you placed it including the warning that it jumped also scared me once it's finished...thanks to your video I was able to put buttonholes on the shirt. I know feel much more confident with them. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH From Melbourne Australia

Super helpful. Thank you so much. Just got this machine yesterday. After sewing on my Singer for 60 years…this machine is a bit intimidating. 😊Your tutorial was a great assist to get me started. Owner instruction class from the store is not for another 2 weeks. Kind of excited to start experimenting. Appreciate your help. 👌

You missed a step at the beginning when you were threading - from the spool it goes through the right thread guide THEN the left thread guide.

It is certainly a good machine; we bought it too, but it quickly stopped working and had to be repaired. It was something mechanical, so quite simply, the mechanics couldn't sew, and that was why we bought it. A repair takes between 4 and 5 weeks. It's not exactly fast; it's actually a very, very long time. But it is a good machine; however, there are some design flaws. The plug cable that is connected to the machine on the right side of the machine does not seem to be made for the machine and cannot be pushed in all the way. The pedal works, but it is made of very light plastic and looks a bit like something PFAFF shopped in China at the last minute. You can, when working, acidentially easily hit the two buttons in silver with your hands; they are quite simply in the wrong place. And the extra speed control on the right at the bottom seems a bit like something you "suddenly got an idea to stick there", The mechanical slide-button speed adjuster is of lower quality and not the same quality as the rest. The system that controls whether you can thread a needle never works. And the small window where you can see down to the bobbin is again made of some dubious plastic and looks very different from the rest of the machine. Finally, there is this smart "I cut the thread for you," but it has to be cleaned very often to work, and you have to unscrew two screws. It could have been made smarter.
