I own this vevor sprayer, pretty good for my first sprayer I thought but these upgrades should make it even better. Thanks for the video. I have seen what happens to a hand that's been sprayed by one of these , happened to a co worker long time ago and it's not pretty at all. Whole hand swole up like a melon and had to have skin grafts to fix some of it and lost the tips of a few fingers so I know the dangers. Keep up the great tips.

Revising my previous comment, which was supportive. The suction tube on mine had 2 permanent kinks, one so bad that the tube closed on itself and wouldn't draw paint. I adapted another tube to make it work. However, an alert to everyone... Vevor does NOT supply parts for this. Nada. Zilch. Odd, because they make a schematic with part numbers. I wrote and received a response that Vevor sells complete units only. And no telephone number to call. I'm not regretting my purchase. This is for multiple stainings after hail and wind damage to our home. Cheaper than contractors who want $3K+ just for the stain. I'll save a lot of money and I have no intention of doing anything more (retirement looking me in the face). Thought I would share that you get 3 months MBG, and 12 months warranty. Lost and damaged parts NOT included. After that, this unit is trash. I'm not sorry I bought this. It's perfect for me. just be aware of the limited life....

What pressure and tip are you using?

Most painters don't but I do . I pull the red disconnect handle , remove the 1/4 round track section . Level and remove the hinges , then slide up each door section and remove it . Lay them out on folding saw horses and spray them . Doors go back in next day . If weather is a concern I'll tape 9x400 plastic over the door frames .

Hey Mike, my Graco Silver gun is spitting. No extension, just the gun filter and tip. I bought some white ⅛" washers but don't use them because the gun leaks with them in. Are they needed in the gun housing?

Which paint will hold up longer in full sun : vista Pro Tech or Breakthrough? Would a clear coat be ok to use on top of the base coat?

You are using the wrong type of paint or not giving it enough time to cure. Even if it ends up sticking, you can use parafin wax and rub it on the door seal. Problem solved. Some people are just lazy or like to take shortcuts. We get it. Gotta make a living. But reputation matters too. And this half assed method is bound to get you a bad wrap when someone’s friend or family member asks the home owner WTF they paid to have someone to paint “most” of their door. Its an eye sore.

When you accidentally press that handle in it makes the shield almost useless it'll bend down the middle on you

I started using corflute because i didnt wanna buy new shields all the time. It goes much better. Havent looked back since using them and still on the same 3 pieces. Multiple jobs now… I got the 5mm thickness ones and just razor knifed the sheet to equal panels. Made sure they were level and to my preferred dimensions. They don’t drip (unless you water down paint too much) and you can wipe em right off or hose it off then rag it. Basically indestructible and the only shields you will ever need again…

what is the nut that holds the tip in place called? I appreciate the advice on using flat tips over reversa tips but more explanation of what the parts are called would be helpful. I found the flat tips, the flat tip housing and the filters but need the nut that holds the tip in place
