But it's surprising that the majority of my friends earn much higher salaries than the people I knew in Ireland. + my lifestyle here is of a much much higher quality with great food, affordable and accessible health care and all the other points mentioned in the video 😉

Where are you from? was not considered a rude question when I grew up in Ireland, but over the years, I've learnt that some people come here but have the expectation that you never acknowledge verbally that they're not from here. It's odd to us. It used to be rude to not ask. Nothing ruder that showing no interest in somebody. But now the ratio of foreigners to irish is so high, we can no longer mention the obvious. We adapt to foreign norms!!

Hm...Moldova might be like Africa, but I the quality of my life here is much much higher. I can afford anything I want and live in my own property which I bought by myself at 26 with no mortgage.

I actually earn more in Moldova than I used to earn while living in Ireland. And the majority of my friends under 30 earn really well here and managed to purchase their own properties and live a good life 😉 The fact that I'm responsible with my finances, plan well and so on is about me and my priorities. I think I would have bought my apartment faster if I didn't move to Ireland. But, indeed I saved some money for my property in Ireland. And I worked really hard for them and paid tens of thousands os euros in taxes.
