You got yourself some beautiful boards. Tracing a dining room table to the spot where the tree grew is fantastic. Keep up the great work. Do you get any snow yet?
@localwoodfurniture8 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching. I hope that the forest and people can become closer to each other. It's going to snow starting next week. The snow blocks out the sounds and creates a quiet world.

Absolutely, positively excellent craftsmanship. I love the space for the Allen wrench.

You really need a centralized dust collection system in your shop. For keeping dust out of the air, and for clean up. You are inhaling a LOT of dust.

How much do you sell it ?

hello. This table has already been purchased. Tables sell for $2200-$3000 at current exchange rates, depending on size. It will be the selling price in Japan.

@@localwoodfurniture thanks a lot for your answer.🙏🏻 The system of the "special sliding dove tail" is a lot of work ! But terribly beautiful assembly ! And keep the table top straight. I'd love to learn how you work. Very inspiring. I've learned carpentry with a Japanese master who were in France for a workshop. Only two weeks but it marked forever my way of working. In my dreams I'll do a master class with you. Thanks for your vids. And please keep the difficult/technical parts in some vids for us who watch to learn how you do them. 🙏🏻

It's a technique I learned from my master, so I can't make a video of the details. as a learned person. However, I will introduce the production scenery degree. I would appreciate it if you could understand.

It’s a nice table. Very simple looking Cherry table. The joinery is over complicated and doesn’t add anything.

Hi. I really like what you do. What is the name of the joint you did for legs support (1m22)

Thank you. A traditional Japanese technique called kakushiokuriarizan. It is a warp prevention processing of the board.

What a beautiful piece of furniture! The loving approach to your work is a sign of a Master. I am also a woodworker- more in restoration work (all hand work). You have some fantastic machines, but you also do really nice, clean work by hand, so important in furniture. Greetings from France. Japan is a great country and culture, we in the West look up to you. Sayonara.

Thank you. The first thing I learned was hand tools. Later I learned machining. Machine processing comes with various restrictions, but I like hand processing because it is free. I have never been to France, so I would like to visit there someday.
ありがとうございます。 今年の春から旭川デザインセンターに作品を置くようになりました。 良いところですよね。 Thank you. From this spring, I started exhibiting my works at the Asahikawa Design Center. Good location.
