You have a wonderful collection of furniture pieces. The late 60's to70's was a great time world wide for furniture design. It was furniture that was made to last and has seen a recent reformation. Prices in Australia are extremely high. You and your husband have good taste. I really love the old Japanese furniture given to you by your landlord. Amazing generosity. Any items that were handmade in years past will always be treasured by families and strangers in this plastic throw away world we now live in.
I should have said you can use the boiling water or the vinegar but not together. 😊

You are always so organized. The bamboo charcoal was a good choice for the cupboard. Fresh air is the most important thing to keep mould at bay. If you have a lot of weeds you can spray them with vinegar or pour boiling water on them. This works well for the pesky ones in tight crevices too. My dad taught me that. I loved seeing the adults in the mud with the children. I think I read somewhere that the mud in the rice paddies has beneficial properties. Your lunch looked delicious.

Thank you for the information! I didn’t know that the hot water and vinegar were effective in killing weeds! I will do that. It seems that the mud from the rice paddies has the same effect as clay therapy and also has a relaxation effect.
What a wonderful place. That is the sort of thing that we like to do when we visit Japan. The food looked amazing. ❤

Hello. I hate mosquitos. I always get bitten before anyone else too. I have read that RH Negative blood is far more attractive to mosquitos than other bloods and I am RH Negative. The same for one of my sisters. We always had mosquito nets when I was a child as homes had no insect screens then. Mosquito coils were always burning too. Thank goodness for screens now. What smells do mosquitoes hate? Mosquitoes hate the smell of lavender, citronella, clove, peppermint, basil, cedarwood, eucalyptus, peppermint, lemongrass and rosemary so you can also use them to deter the pesky little things. I will have to invest in one of those pots you bought. How long do you use your left over oil? Your dinner looked amazing.

Thank you for your comment as always💖 I didn’t know that information. Then I might be Rh minus too. There are mosquito nets in Australia too! I thought it was unique to Japan. You have a lot of knowledges about insect repellent!! I'm also using those scents to make insect repellent sprays. It works! It depends on the ingredients to be fried, but the leftover oil is used about 3 times. The next time I use it, I also put a little new oil in it.
Your new pot is beautiful! I love kitchenware too! Your videos are so relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you!

Hello. What a delicious breakfast. I love zucchini steamed in the microwave as well as fried. We eat lots of it in Australia. I sometimes make a zucchini slice too. Really lovely with salad. I think I saw a tiny yellow flower on your cherry tomatoes already. All your plants always look so healthy.🪴🍅

Hello😊 Thank you for your comment💖 What kind of sauce do you use for steamed zucchini or salad? I haven’t eaten raw zucchini, so I would like to try🥒✨
@jennycampbell5236Ай бұрын
Raw zucchini is just eaten chopped or peeled into thin strips with a vegetable peeler to be eaten. Just have a thin slice to taste. You may or may not like it. Wash and leave skin on and microwave and have it with salt and pepper or slice and add to stir fry. I will add recipe for baked zucchini slice if you like.
