Pokemon BW2 is basically a remake of the BW games, unless you want a remastered version? We should be talking about BW Sequels like BW3. To be honest Johto don't get as much as Gen 5 does, we need justice for Johto man. Johto only got like G/S/C and HGSS.

What did you get in your fun pack?

Played Pokemon Scarlet, Shining Pearl, Arceus, Let's Go Pikachu and now Shield, honestly, compared to Scarlet and SP, aesthetic wise and gameplay wise I'm enjoying Shield. Glad I never listened to the punks hating the game.

Day 8 contains a Iron Bundle Card! Are you happy with that? (Sorry for the delay on this one, I'm a few days behind!)

I don’t understand people’s frustration with Dexit, honestly a big part of the fun when playing the new games for me is looking at all the new pokemon and forming a viable team out of them. I understand loving the older mons, emerald was my first game and Sceptile will always have a place in my heart, but I don’t want to just use the same team in every new game that comes out, at that point I really am just playing the same game over and over. Not to mention it makes completing the pokedex a lot easier since 300 and something mons are a lot more manageable than almost 1000 overall at this point.

I've taken a look at what Pokémon could be on the front of a new Let's Go game... Umbreon and Espeon feel like they are the best for marketability. Only concern is that Umbreon will sale a lot more with Male customers and Espeon will likely sell more with Female customers, though that can also be considered a good thing. Pichu and Togepi would be good mascots, but I'm not sure about marketing baby Pokémon if you want every kind of Pokémon player to buy this game... Personally, I think Marill would be the best pick for a mascot but I can't figure out what would match Marill. Sure, Pichu maybe... But Pichu is a baby Pokémon while Marill is a basic Pokémon. Some people think Wooper.... But... Come on... "Let's Go : Wooper?" no.. just no 😂 Fuck it, Let's Go : Shuckle

I'm just getting around to the Switch Pokemon games now after completing the pokedex of every game on the DS and 3DS years ago. Moved every single pokemon from the DS to the Switch with Bank/Home. I've started with Sword. The main story portion of the game is too linear, too short and too easy but I'm enjoying it now that I'm doing post game and dlc. I think I'll go with Let's Go next, then BDSP, Legends: Arceus, and finish with Scarlet/Violet.

How is everybody finding the Advent Calendar so far?

I played Red back on the GameBoy and skipped a few games, didnt get to play a Pokemon game til X/Y and Sun/Moon ... I recently started to play Sword/Shield and I dont get why it gets so much hate, the game is amazing! I wanted to play Arceus or Scarlet but those games look awful in terms of aesthetics and performance ... maybe the Switch 2 gives them a bit of power to work with? But from what I have seen, I did the right thing on picking Shield instead of the most recent two games.

Is the TCG Advent Calendar worth it?

With an assumption of a later gym leader or even the last one for me, I would go steelix, lucario, corviknight, excadrill, and the only mega steel pokemon I think would make sense is mega agrron with pure steel, highest defense(matched with 2 others) in the game, and filter, it's just the true spirit of the steel type

How well did she do?

Like so many people, I just expect better from Pokémon. Saying ‘it’s just a game for kids’ is so untrue-dude, I was 2 when the first game came out, and I still love it! When Scarlet and Violet came out, I was so disappointed with how ‘unfinished’ the game felt. They were on the right track, and Arceus, while still a bit unfinished, was such a breath of fresh air. But instead of prioritising quality, it feels like Pokémon rushed it out the door for the money. If Pokémon just had the guts to say, ‘Hey, we need a bit more time to finish this and make it epic,’ the result could have been fantastic. It’s only natural for people to get so attached to something they’re passionate about-and now their kids are too. Some fans have poured decades of love into this franchise, and all we ask is for Pokémon to take a bit more time to put the “quality” back into their games. With how much money Pokémon makes, it’s not unreasonable to expect polished, well-thought-out games. The potential is there-they just need to take the time to deliver on it.

Johto had a remake years ago so its done. And since HGSS didn't even fix the past issues from the originals, another remake that repeats the same mistake isn't a good idea. A remake of BW makes sense as Unova hasn't had a remake at all. BW3 will never happen as they don't do late sequels to games of an older generation. BDSP is a remake as it added enough. ORAS added and changed too much. HGSS is just a bad remake.

I bought the game but never played til a month ago I thought it was fun but my buddy bought me violet so we could raid together..before that I haven’t played since pearl so almost 20 years
