How long do you cut the string ?
@thelilthings7920 күн бұрын
I cut thread, just like you, separated, just like you, but I can not follow along. You go wayyyyy to fast. I thought this was for beginners. I am not making the correct knot because I can't see exactly how you are doing it, just way too fast. I'm aggravated

Woow nice, can you please tell what kind of rope you use? Cotton or more for embroidery thread?
@luhvflowerАй бұрын
GUYS!!!! if you want to do the 4 string bracelet, DO NOT take 36 inches. That is was too small, you would need twice the size of that. So like 1m60 cm (according to another video). And can u pls provide more info? Like you only showed how to do the first row, it’s unclear on how to do the rest. Not the best….

One of my reed diffuser clients just asked me to make them two XL outdoor candles. I do wax melts, but have never experimented with candles, let alone 14.5 inch wide outdoor ones! so that's quite a fun challenge to take. Before purchasing material and diving into the actual candle making, I am obviously doing plenty of research, and your video has been the most helpful resource for me on this journey, Julia. You should really add a super thanks button! + If I may humbly add a point or two from my noob position, I think it's worth experimenting with different wicks before comitting to one type, making sure to test them in the intended use case, in this case, outdoors. As I understand it, some are surely going to perform better than others. I also think it's worth noting that not all beeswax are hard, and not all soy waxes are soft. Lastly, for those of us who ship our products, especially in summer, I believe it's worth looking into waxes with high congealing points, to minimize the risk of deformation during shipping. The one I went for has a congealing point of 120-129° F. I'd love to hear your thoughts on these.

I used to make these like crazy as a kid in the 80s and could make them so fast! I'm 52 now, and none of this is ringing any bells, LOL. I have all these pretty embroidery threads though, so I'm determined to make them again!! ❤
