I've seen Jon live about five or six times...never disappoints...once his mic went out so he sat down at the drums and played and sang the next few songs. BTW my cousin lives in Greenwich London and loves piping in a bit of country on whatever station there is available.

Yeah I'd say he's up there now but the other reason Zac Bryan is singing about Toby Keith is because Zach Bryan is from Oklahoma as well I'm pretty sure Toby Keith is someone he looked up to and respected from the time he was a boy.

@anghiggy50295 ай бұрын
This is no tribute. Why bother if you don't even know the words? Doesn't matter that he was only 3, this song still plays on the radio, plus he had ample time to listen to the song enough times to memorize them but he didn't bother to do that. Again, no tribute here.
@timsgotissues35814 ай бұрын
I'm glad he did a tribute, but if he was three when the song came out, it means he's been hearing it ever since (assuming he listens to country) and still didn't learn it.

@@user-eb9os5ue5n I guarantee you I know the words. Even live and on stage, I would still know the words. It's no tribute when he doesn't even know the words. A tribute is when Merle was very sick, his last concert Toby just happened to be there, Merle asked him, how many of my songs do you know, Toby answered "all of them". Merel asked him if he could take over if Merle couldn't get through it. Toby said yessir and I don't need a teleprompter neither.

The Country label is actually a device amplified by the 2013 SING-OFF tv show - which they won. Then they had Two Southerners = Tim Bass, from Texas / Austin High Tenor, Georgia ... their twang and charm did contribute ... later on = 2015 .... Chance (Alabama) replaced Chris as aforementioned ..... and they are KINDA COUNTRY by natural ways now ..... mainly they ARE ABLE TO SING ANYTHING in Harmony just Phenomenal !!! jj

Nobody that kind and genuine has or made a deal with the Devil. Chase didn't sell his soul and he never would. The only sellout is Upchurch, why you ask? Well Upchurch straight up cut concert tickets cause he knew he wouldn't make profit off of the ticket sales. So, who's the sellout? Right, Upchurch.😅😱

I liked your reaction. A little cultural context, in case it's missing in the UK: "You ain't gotta be born out in the sticks, with an F-150 and a 30-06." "Out in the sticks:" very rural; say, 7km from the nearest neighbor, 30km from the nearest town, 70km from the nearest city. "F-150:" A popular Ford half-ton pickup, frequently used as a farm work truck, most likely dented and rusty. The E-150 is a full-sized van on the same frame; the F-250 is a one-ton pickup. "30-06:" Hunting rifle, usually bolt-action, usually scoped, chambered in what NATO would call 7.62x63mm. (The same chambering was also used in WWII in the Garand M1 battle rifle and the Browning BAR light machine gun, but those are military weapons, not what's referenced here.) The US military so named the chambering because it was the .30-caliber cartridge invented in 1906.
