Yes, mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) can differentiate into neuron-like cells under specific conditions, although they primarily support neural repair by reducing inflammation and promoting cell survival. They're being studied for applications in brain injury and neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.

Not a single member of the US government is remotely qualified to make laws in this subject matter. Why are the experts being sidelined while politicians bought out by pharmaceutical companies are deciding regulation?
@hopebiosciences8 күн бұрын
Thank you for sharing your perspective. It's true that regulatory decisions can be challenging when it comes to innovative medical technologies like stem cell therapies. We believe that collaboration between scientists, medical experts, and policymakers is essential to creating responsible and forward-thinking regulations. Education and awareness are key, and we’ll keep doing our part to bring accurate information to the public.

I 9:14 I think we fall into the trap that we allow the FDA to define the “law” of stem cells what it can or should be and that has to change. The FDA is too corrupt to make these decisions. Well, hopefully that will change with RFK Jr. and others putting a new path forward.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The regulatory landscape for stem cells is indeed complex, and many people are calling for changes to make these therapies more accessible while maintaining safety and efficacy standards. Open dialogue and informed advocacy are important steps toward shaping a better future for medical innovation.

Donna, I've read several articles about how people who keep their workspace cleaned up are less productive than those with a seemingly messy area. Not only do they spend a substantial portion of their day cleaning and recleaning but they can't find things as quickly because the items are constantly shuffled as the area is straightened up. I don't know if that's true but I cling to it as the Gospel every time I walk into my studio. 😉
@hopebiosciences8 күн бұрын
Ha, I love that! 😊 I’ve read similar articles, too-sometimes a little ‘organized chaos’ can spark creativity. It’s all about what works for you. If a bit of mess helps your productivity, then it’s definitely the right approach. Keep embracing your workflow, and your studio is clearly a place of inspiration!

any data which stem cell is more used & effective for neurological condition: fat, bone marrow and Umbilical Cord?
@hopebiosciences2 ай бұрын
We do not believe that efficacy is highly dependent on the source. There may be a dependency however, other factors such as identity, purity, viability, potency and host condition can better predict efficacy of a cell therapy. In other words, one should first look at the cell itself, not the location from which it came from. Hope this helps!

What is supplement active stem cells?
@hopebiosciences8 күн бұрын
Great question! 'Active stem cells' in supplements generally refers to products that claim to support the body's natural stem cell function or encourage the production of stem cells. However, it's important to note that supplements cannot directly provide or replace stem cells like a medical treatment might. For more accurate information, it’s always best to consult with a healthcare provider or review the scientific research behind these claims.

@hopebiosciences8 күн бұрын
Thank you for sharing your perspective. Native stem cell treatments are indeed a promising area of research, and many believe in their potential for regenerative medicine. As for legalities, each country has its own regulatory process to ensure safety and efficacy. It's important to consider both the scientific evidence and the ethical considerations in moving forward with these treatments. We’re excited to see how this field evolves globally!

11:26 A very nice discussion the definitions and part of the history on stem cells in the USA so far. It’s a little frustrating to hear someone in the field mispronounce totipotent and multipotent. It’s not said the same way as pluripotent which is being said correctly. The same goes for the word Mesenchymal which is usually mispronounced. When someone is speaking to people who don’t know the terminology and they hear it incorrectly pronounced then we have a bunch of people saying it wrong.
@hopebiosciences8 күн бұрын
Thank you for the great feedback! We appreciate your attention to detail and agree that correct pronunciation of terms like totipotent, multipotent, and mesenchymal is important, especially when educating others. It's easy for terminology to slip through, and we’re grateful for your input. We’ll definitely keep that in mind moving forward to ensure we’re providing the clearest and most accurate information possible. Thanks again for bringing it to our attention!

Thank you for doing and sharing this milestone step. Can someone help me understand how these stem cells per for right in a petri dish? Are there additional nutrients or other stimulations given for this? I can’t believe the study’s petri dish creates I needed increased reproduction in the count of stem cells. At this point, my assumption is that this is a defined practice that falls outside of this trial please I want to tell my kids the answers to their questions that they were wanting to ask in school meiosis versus mitosis is the current challenge and this will be coming.
@hopebiosciences2 ай бұрын
Hi Michael, we apologize for the delayed response and to keep your kiddos waiting! Hope Biosciences has a patented process allowing for cells to proliferate without any changes to the cells. They can also multiply at an unprecedented speed while maintaining all the original characteristics of the cells! When MSCs are cultured, they undergo mitosis to expand their numbers. However, meiosis does not play a role in MSC culturing, as these cells are not involved in gamete formation. Perhaps this video we will be helpful for the family: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4jboaGQl9GBa68si=EZangZsLztvde_ks

I was advised by a physician, that stem cells can’t be released from the matrix they are within [in the fat] without using certain enzymes (collagenase) that are illegal to use in the United States, for that purpose. The FDA constitutes these alterations as creating a “drug”…Has this changed?

How do you test for and confirm function of msc’s before you use them? Thanks 🙏
@hopebiosciences4 ай бұрын
The production process has been validated to ensure that what we produce is functional and healthy. When stem cells are made and released for each patient, they are tested at each release. We test them for sterility (bacteria and fungi), mycoplasma, endotoxin, gram staining, cell markers, viability and appearance.
@bg57604 ай бұрын
I’ve spoken with researchers around the world…every one of them agreed that msc’s modulate the immune system response 👍. Inflammation is a key driver to disease…modulate the immune system may lead to adjusting inflammation (up/down) and may either allow the body to then repair or augment/assist in the repair 🎊 🎉 I’ve had two msc treatments for autoimmune and systemic inflammation from an unknown cause.🙏🙏🙏
@hopebiosciences8 күн бұрын
Thank you for sharing your experience and insights! You’re absolutely right that MSCs (mesenchymal stem cells) have shown great potential in modulating the immune response and inflammation. Their ability to adjust immune system activity can help balance inflammation, which is key in treating conditions like autoimmune diseases. We’re excited to see the continued research in this area, and it’s encouraging to hear about your personal journey with MSC treatments. Wishing you all the best with your ongoing healing process!

He’s a union worker, due to heavy rains, he did not accumulate enough hours to be covered by insurance. I live in Texas, would be able to take him to all appointments. LSD exists and it works on fixing TBI and way more. Just crush limestone to dust, mix it in water and drink the effluent after you use the LSD.
@hopebiosciences8 күн бұрын
It's important to approach medical treatments, especially for serious conditions like TBI (traumatic brain injury), with caution and based on solid scientific evidence. While LSD has been studied for its potential in treating various mental health conditions, including some related to neuroplasticity, there isn't sufficient evidence to support its use as a treatment for TBI. Using substances like LSD outside of a controlled, clinical environment could be dangerous and may not provide the therapeutic benefits that some people hope for. If you're interested in alternatives for TBI treatment, I’d recommend looking into established therapies and speaking with medical professionals to explore safe and effective options. Let me know if you'd like any resources on this!

@ lady if I wasted my time in controlled environments I’d still be in a wheel chair. All of our ancestors had substantial interactions with ergot throughout human history. LSD comes from ergot. If ancient man could figure it out we should be able to as well.
