No question. Sid’s quick release is insane. It’s one of the key reasons he’s been able to remain such a prolific scorer for so long. Opposing goaltenders have trouble anticipating when he’s going to put a shot on net. And because his blade is almost flat, he can just as easily go backhand as fore.

unreal snap shot. Best I have ever seen. If you see the breakdown of a snap shot most will teach you to use your whole body but Crosby uses minimal twist and almost no leg drop and still snaps this lightning fast

Crosby is such an awesome player. He’s not flashy, and he’s not extraordinarily good at a flashy move. But boy is he phenomenal at the fundamental plays of hockey and that’s what’s so great about him.

Sid’s first step is unreal. Absolute confidence in his one handed abilities. And insane work ethic. His game has adapted well as he’s aged too. Seems like in the later part of his career, he’s been more efficient. Not as many marathon puck battles, and more decisive playmaking.
