I have one :) & it's a tank. I like the barrel flip when fired because the aim point always comes back to home target and doesn't shove your shoulder back. Never misfired once on me. A tank of a gun. Thanks for the review MrHub.

Just picked one up a few days ago new on sale and i absolutely love it! Fyi, they are finicky during break in. If using 2 3/4 shells it almost needs a round running 1300fps or more to have enough pressure to cycle. Keep it clean and oiled during break in so parts can seat and get a nice polish. I hot cycled mine on 4 boxes of double bb 3" magnums. Run a box as fast as possible and then let it cool, wipe out the chamber, light oil, next box. Get it hot, get it working hard. Thing runs flawless now. Just remember the faster than 1300 rule... its really a great gun!

I have one of these but haven't shot it yet. Saw ur video and pulled on mine and sure enough it came out pretty easily. I used my dremel with the silicone grinding bit to deepen the notch a few hundredths. I kept the bit at a 45 angle to deepen the flats and kept the edge of the bit in the point of the notch so it stays in line. Not much grinding needed but now it take more to pull it out so I dont think it's going anywhere when I do go to shoot it. Only did one side for now but it's a definite improvement.

If you pull the cheek comb off, you might want to put a neoprene cheek pad on there just to avoid cheek bite. Not essiential, but that metal receiver can punch you when you're not expecting it. ;)
@MrHub9299 ай бұрын
It's been off for about a year, I have done several trap shoots at my rod n Gun Club and a couple turkey shoots, haven't had one issue with it gone. Probably have fired 150 rounds or more with it off.

How do you change the choke?
@MrHub92910 ай бұрын
Sorry, I never thought to show that, as I usually only run a full choke. It almost never gets changed... It uses chokes designed with the same pattern and style as RemChokes by Remington. In the box with the supplied chokes is a cheap little flat stamped tool for unscrewing the choke tube. I personally am not a fan of it. I went on Amazon and purchased a RemChoke tool that inserts into the choke tube more securely and feels like hardened toolz steel. It is a round tool just smaller than the choke tube Dia. So once it is engaged with the choke tube, it is less likely to disengage under pressure. I will try to make a video with both the stock tool and the one I purchased....

Contemplating on buying don’t like the fore grip but saw that it seems to be pic railed on. Is it removable and be replaced with something more secure?
@MrHub929 Жыл бұрын
Is not pic railed. It is only the finest Turkish fake key mod look alike texture. I hate that part of the gun, but it is very comfortable to hold. More than you would think. All things considered. It is a very capable and remarkable ( even if questionable in styling) semi auto shotgun.

I bought one of these a couple years ago and they are fun to shoot, shoot like butter, and are very accurate, but no fun to reload every 10 shots. It was clearly designed to pass the rules they had during the gun ban times.

I have the Dickinson ranger. Looks just like this one. But there are some differences. Like mine has an ak style mag release. There are no screws to remove for breakdown. And the price for it was only $270 from palmetto state. Man I love it. Very reliable with both high and low brass.

This video was extremely helpful. Thanks so much. Have you experienced any light fire/non-fire issues with this gun at all?
@MrHub929 Жыл бұрын
Early on yes. The gun needed a bout 3-4 hundred rounds to brake in. Esp. With cheap bird shot. The first mag probably had 4-5 FTF out of 10. After 300 rounds it was less then 1 per 10. Now hardly ever have an issue. At my last club trap shoot I had 2 rounds back to back where I was 20+ out of 30 clays. And I don't shoot trap a lot...
@CityBoyMusicGroup313 Жыл бұрын
I had an issue with the gas ring jumping out of place and causing a FTF. Once I took it apart and put the ring back in its place, it worked perfectly
