Well done for your persistence!......second time recently I've heard a fisherman say "tidy down"!.....surely "tidy up".

Nice video. I’m off down to Brighton in a couple of weeks if you fancy another try and some company. I’m from Harlow so I to have to travel . Was on the south coast at Barton on sea for rays last week and blanked and to be honest had a bloody good session. Makes you try harder and think about your fishing .

I am going down in a few weeks again not sure when maybe next weekend as the tides are high and maybe the weather is good..Thanks for watching. I'm always up for some company when fishing 🎣

Hi Joe, Great to see you back fishing mate certainly been a while. watched your previous vid at walton. I fished Saturday 18th Jan in our local comp on Walton Pier but the fishing was rubbish hardly anything caught. Not One whiting was caught sprats are in abundance. Take care and look forward to your next vid. All the best Nigel

Hello Nigel, thank you very much. Yes I knew there was a match going on Saturday. Suprised not alot was caught. When are you fishing next? Going to do a local one again soon, just got back from Brighton and wasn't great 😕

I'm glad to see you're back out again fishing Joe. I missed your first video. I'm gonna watch it now. I know how being disabled really screws up your life, and getting older tends to slow you down a lot, too. Over the last year or so, my knees are just not working like they used to, and just getting out of bed in the mornings is becoming a major event. Old age is not creeping up. it's galloping. The wife reminds me that I can't take our boat out by myself anymore as my balance is not what it was either. I still feel like a youngster, but I'm getting close to 70. Keep on going as much as you can, mate, I'm tending to walk the dog alongside the Pacific instead of fishing in it. Hopefully, my next hospital visit will get the body in a better shape.

Great little video shot just down the road from where I live! Well done on the little Sea Bass beauties. Can I suggest Canvey Island as worth a try, I caught bigger Sea Bass many years ago on the sea front there. Parking I think is free this time of year just inside the sea wall. Have you tried Southend pier? Now subscribed! 😊

Completely off topic for this video Joe, what happened with your boat in the end?
@Delintrepid4 күн бұрын
I sold it mate, and the sib. Too much hard work for me to carry on having it.
@C3BFA4 күн бұрын
@Delintrepid I didn't realise you had a sib, I remember following the build series I think it had a leak at the rear then you sorted it but I didn't remember much after that. The crazy thing is I was doing my boat at the same time and it's ridiculous but I'm still Doing it. Not much left now I definitely went to far with it lol

Nice vid mate. Im Colchester based and fish Clacton/ Holland Frinton and Walton. Not tried Harwich yet. Have you fished Harwich before and was it any good? Might try in Feb. January is always hit and miss, mostly miss 🤣
@Delintrepid4 күн бұрын
January is always a shocking month for us in Essex. I've fished Harwich quite a few times. It's chucks up everything you would get from clacton/walton/frinton etc Ha penny pier is comfortable fishing, or the beaches on the other side do ok aswell, get more eels that side
