This truck was uploaded way back in 2012 sometime and yes, it’s the same truck since it the license plates are the same as they were in 2012. Amazing how this is 30 years old and still in good working order.

Such beastly trucks!! And I have always thought this is a great solution for getting rid of construction waste in cities where space is at a premium and dumpsters just won’t work. I also love how these companies really customize their trucks especially the older model Macks. Great video brotha!

Generally, everything is collected together. America doesn't enforce any separate collection

Some will pay for recycling service then that will be picked up by a separate truck like mine every other week. Also the cans with the blue lids are the ones waiting for the recycling truck to service them.

The combination garbage raker and tamper seen getting into position at the end of the video was a nice bonus! Next time you get to go to the tip, get a short clip of it raking all that garbage over to the face of the landfill it's being shoved into.

I worked many different types of side loaders in my career and I see two problems here. A painfully slow packer blade and a operator that does not know how to use the crusher panel.

The packer didn't bother me so much as the arm and its slow, insufficient reach. As for the crusher panel, I didn't use it much in this video because the packer kept up reasonably well and I knew it would be more entertaining to see the packer overcome mounds of trash rather than hide all the action with the panel lowered. Glad you enjoyed!
