The floating lady and the linking cards were good. The comedy shrinking Eugene Levy was hokey, the room number ESP was lacking his usual clever twist, and the Emily thing was a snoozefest. The Statue of Liberty as the main event was greater as a concept than what they actual showed on screen. I've watched a bunch of his specials recently (Bermuda Triangle, Grand Canyon, Tornado of Fire, Unexplained Forces), and so far this was the weakest

I watched David's TV specials when they were first broadcast, and this one was unforgettable! Flying blew me away! And when he performed in NYC for his extended "Dreams and Nightmares" run, I got to see him live twice. Flying was as amazing live as I could have imagined it would be. And all these years later, his presentation is still the best ... from music to choreography to the use of the live bird. I know he still performs in Las Vegas and hope to see him again someday.

During this "Portal tour" as it was called, I watched the one in Cupertino, CA early 2000's. The teleporting portion was David and the audience member that was selected by catching a beach ball that was being tossed around, and then teleported to a beach in Thailand. When David returned back from teleporting, he was standing right behind me and my wife. It was unbelievable! David had always been my favorite magician ever since I first saw his tv show on walking through the Great Wall in China as a kid.
