Hoopa Unbound is finally coming back to Pokémon GO through a Raid Day, but some Pokémon GO Players are feeling unhappy about it. In spite of that, I think this is actually really great, and it deserves a lot more hype than it is getting. In this video, I will explain all the details you need to know regarding Hoopa Unbound Raid Day and why you should care about it!

By early 2019, the game had over a billion global downloads, grossing over $3 billion in revenue. The game also had over 147 million monthly active users as of May 2018.

Yall should realize that niantic needs confirmation from the Pokemon company before releasing a shiny, hoopa has never been shiny before and the Pokemon company prolly wants to release it through a special event or mystery gift

To be honest, all these “talks in the Pokemon go community” is just personal opinion of different trainers. Is it worth it? This is to be decided by each trainer and his/her style of playing and preferences. For me? I absolutely love Hupa, it’s one of my favorite Pokemon so no, I’m not saving anything, just the contrary, I will buy a lot of coins, go to busy area here in Tokyo and raid as many Hupa as possible, as well as remote raids in different time zones. I want an army of Hupas. I don’t care if can’t be traded, I rarely trade anyways. What decides what is worth or no worth in this game for me, is if it’s a Pokemon I love, not what others say 😅 I don’t care about any meta, hate PvP, I like catching Pokemon especially my favorites, love having many different gold gym medals, love seeing how many points I can achieve, and love completing Pokemon go tasks and researches

Thankfully we have a huge community where I play. This coupled with the solid team I have made will make getting a ton of these easy. Plus, its one of the few Mythicals I still don't have yet so this is going to be a blast for me.

Oh boy, the disappointment I felt when I tried to raid Hoopa in the elite raid and still failed it. I have a coworker that we can party up and use party power, but party power seems to glitch out now. So, I don't have the best hope of trying to get a Hoopa now, either.

I’m shocked Hoopa Unbound is still relevant after being absent for a long time on Pokemon go hub it’s a solid psychic type attacker and dark type attacker I one thing isn’t available since it’s a mythical pokemon maybe in Legends ZA we could see the shiny debut or as a Pokédex reward like how they did for Manaphy. Or they release it next year for the Kalos Go Tour event.

Every Hoopa is bottom of the barrel. It's awful in PvP and PvE. It's just a Dex filler. Maybe if they give it its signature move, idk.

yea i mean, idk if the bar for Niantic is that low for me or bc i havent even raided hoopa before, but im pretty satisfied that it has a raid day, no shiny or legacy move. def can see why it's not as exciting, esp w/o a legacy move to make it more significant

They used this pokemon to introduce the elite raid feature and they had it in elite raids 3 times, so this feels a bit like, "Really? Again?" But I guess it has been a while since it was in elite raids and this will be easier, so people will be able to get them easier and newer players can get them. But I would have liked a signature move and I would have liked it if they allowed those of us who didn't get that research back in the day to convert it between the bound and unbound forms.

It's a very bad raid day they could just do fusion raid day or if they release the shiny then it's a great way to increase the popularity of the game as it will gain the interest of main series gamers

I understand why people are upset about this event cause there is no shiny. That is okay cause had the shiny been released for me is mediocre for me. I was hoping for something that was not Mega Audino cause that thing is useless while sure that would be worth it someday I mean Normal and Fairy type it only has two weaknesses and yeah very useless or at least I think. I don’t have a Hoopa Unbound so this is for me the best way to get a dex entry and a 💯 % iv. I have the Hoopa confined form which is a good one I might add. Hoopa Unbound is only gonna be weak to Bug and Fairy types. Bugs are so weak and very few of those are meta in this game. I’m not going to go all out but I’m going to go hard for this one cause I this one so much better. I think that is gonna be Top 5 in the game sure not Top 3 or number 1 that will always be Mewtwo for psychic types and the mega’s if those get released. Other than Darkrai, The bacon bird this form of Hoopa is gonna be one of the best Dark types in the game. Zarude exists but that is through a paywall and mine is good but I don’t consider Zarude top tier Pokemon unless we don’t have an Ultra beast then it’s that and a Zarude. I like Zarude and the shiny form is better but for now it’s Darkrai, The life sucking bird that turns to bacon or meat when it is shiny, and Hoopa Unbound for Dark types. Excluding the Mega’s which we only have Houndoom and maybe something else possibly I’ll check for more if we do but I think I’m right. Thanks Count. I like that it is 20 on the limit I would be okay with 15 but 20 is perfect for me.

So the pokemon company chose not to give hoopa it's shiny in the main game series? So that means that some pokemon games shiny dex can not be 100% completed? I thought that when they released a game all the shiny pokemon were available at once. So the pokemon company slowly release some shiny's over time like niantic does? But the pokemon company hasn't gotten around to releasing a shiny from generation 6 yet! That seems incredible lazy as we are up to generation 9 now. For context the last main game series pokemon game i played was emerald.

No shiny Hoopa (not announced yet) so not worth it. I would've been happier with a Zarude Raid Day without its shiny since it's the most meta relevant Mythical out there besides Genesect with the the Chill Drive.

It's a waste of time regardless of if it's been shiny in main series or not, a raid days premise has always been to get boosted shiny odds for the 3 hour window to incentivise players to collect together. It's ridonkulous they're making this an event. Selling a ticket for a non shiny event. Super boring imo.

If you play the mainline Pokemon games, you can always transfer mythicals to Pokemon Home, transfer them to compatible mainline games and trade them through those or help complete those Pokedexes. More useful than just transferring extras to the professor for a few candies.

This is just another “Meh” raid day. It isn’t super relevant and no shiny AND the change of good weather here is very low so I will probably do one or two remote raids and then be done.
