How do you simply restart the thing? I've google "restart airport express" and all the results are about resetting and soft resetting. Stupid apple crap.

I fucking gave up, Hue is so annoying... I had 2 lights go out FOR NO REASON.... And now i cant connect them or even turn them on... So annoying... For sure never going with Hue, for that price? Hell nah..

Try this: whit the apple Tv turned on, press at the same time for 5 sec (-) and Menu or command center, wait the light of the apple Tv blink and turn on again, and that's it

@@JuanDupezh I had the opposite problem. Volume control on the Apple TV would work, but I couldn't control the power state of my receiver. This simple fix worked! Thank you so much!

What do you do if you do the bulb reet with the remote control, the bulb flashes a few times but it won't pair w the Hue App? I have the bulb in the same room as the Hue Bridge. I tried entering the serial number. Nothing. I have reset it a few times at this point but the Hue Bridge isnt finding it when trying to add.

Just want to add that if you're giving back to Apple for a trade in then you don't have to reinstall anything. Once you remove your accounts like icloud and back up your data (whichever order depending on what you're doing), you can then "erase all content and settings". Then you're done.

Double check to make sure your HDMI cord is plugged into the right port (ARC is usually HDMI 3). Go into your settings on Apple TV > remote and devices > scroll to the bottom and make sure “control tv and receivers” is selected “on” and “volume control” is set to “auto via HDMI”. That should work but if not, check the settings on your tv.

@@tatianabritton6258 actually I am using optical cable and everything is working fine when I power on the Apple TV remote works to power on the TV but when I power off my apple tv only apple tv power off and TV doesn't shut down so I have problem only in shutting off the TV

when i tap remove for the bridge i get a message, tap remove anyway, but nothing happens and the bridge is not removed. Also when i try to remove my account from the app, it says 'something went wrong while syncing your acocunt'. any ideas?

My problem is the audio out on the Apple TV is fixed and the signal strength is way too strong making my receiver peak and distort. It’s really annoying Apple doesn’t let you turn the volume output down
