UPDATED - How to erase and Factory Reset MacBook Pro, Air, iMac M1 ( macOS Monterey and newer)

This is an update to our earlier video on how to erase and reset MacBook Pro on Big Sur, which was a little bit of a complicated process. Thankfully, with MacOS Monterey, Apple has simplified the process of how to erase and reset MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac M1 (or Intel Macs with the T2 Security Chip). The new process to erase and reset MacBook and other Apple computers is now very similar to how you restore your iPhone or iPad, as Apple slowly blurs the lines between their MacOS and iOS software and devices.

whenever i’m on the select wifi screen i don’t have a wifi button in the top right?

When I click system preferences again the erase all content and settings isn’t there

Do you know for sure you're using one of the approved Macs? There's a different process for Intel Macs 2018 and earlier
