Ik this video is old but I’m 16 going on 17 this December my bf just turned 18 3 days ago we’re also a little under a year and half apart but he’s 2 grades above me I want to marry him but it’s hard bc I still have 2 years in HS while he’s already out IK love is patient but we’ve been together 3 years this November and have been talking abt marriage and plan on getting married asap but I’ve been told by my family to wait and what not but I rlly do want to and Ik I want him forever… how did you deal with the negative comments abt being married young?

So many comments from these kids in their teens and twenties talking about being married and how it worked for them.... You haven't hit the hard part yet. The first 2-5 years is cake. Why not get out of your parents houses, and live yur OWN life for a while. Figure out who you are. But straight from mom and dads and hs to housewife?? Ridiculous

I love yall nice to see u both together. I didnt grow up Christian and my parents were divorced. I didnt see the point in marriage until i turned 22 and realized i need to raise my standards. I want a kid one day and i refuse to be someones baby momma. I will be a wife before being a mom. My generation has just normalized divorce so ppl think its all peaches and sunshine to have babies with no marriage. Commitment to 1 person the rest of your life shouldnt scare you, its having a baby without that commitment that should scare you.
