In my opinion wood cladding in is a big NO, especially in Wales where I live, it will rot no matter how you preserve it. And you can never have too many sockets

yall are hating so much but i had old diesel oil in my jeans that got spilled, couldnt tell you how old it was, but it stained my jeans for 2 years. i used one of these wipes for a good 10-20ish minutes. elbow grease for sure it got the stain out. i was shocked

Baby wipes are cheaper.. they will remove weed resin off ur fingers just as quick as this gimmick..

putting on the one thing that even soap will get off no problem before applying the other stuff is a neat magic trick.

You could have saved a ton of money by going to Dunster House in Bedford and buying a complete kit !!
@sumeraybuildsКүн бұрын
I have a Dunster House cabin, it 100% was cheaper to build my own and the end result is much better. Not to mention this workshop is warm in winter. Good luck being warm in those cabins this time of year!

Great job, and nice clear explanations! One question though: with the insect mesh, I can see how that makes a complete seal at the bottom of the front and side cladding, but how does that work with the box section cladding at the back of the building? I'm not quite seeing how the mesh follows the contours of the cladding without leaving gaps.
@sumeraybuildsКүн бұрын
Great question, I made sure to cover all entrances at the top where there was a gap between the joists and wall. I wasn’t able to figure out a solution for the bottom so just hoping that a ‘majority coverage’ will be enough.

Sharp stones are better, such as limestone chipings, as they lock together, pea gravel is round stones and will not lock

Incorrect. Permitted development also has a limit on the amount of land you have developed, I believe this is 50% of your land, including your existing and already planned additions. You are not automatically 'allowed' to build an addition of ANY kind without planning if you will exceed this limit. This limit can however be avoided if the addition is a temporary structure (put it on wheels 😉).
@sumeraybuildsКүн бұрын
Yes that’s lots of caveats. Certainly worth checking out my full video planning permission if anyone is unsure!
@GeekBatmanКүн бұрын
It does. I thought it was important to highlight this part specifically because it appeared as though you said you can build x, y, z and that was that. This is the first video of yours I have seen and while you might have other content that would explain this away, people might just watch this video and hear it as gospel. You know?

I want to see someone drop the hotdog straight down onto the top of the blade from a foot or so and/or quickly throw it into the blade. Everyone slowly moves the hotdog into the blade which is not how fast table saw accidents happen.
@sumeraybuildsКүн бұрын
This wouldn’t work because you need to be holding the hotdog for the mechanism/ sensor to acknowledge that it’s a human touching it. If you just throw a hotdog at it, it won’t actually go off.

I’m not worried about the grease, that’s easy to get off with baby wipes. It’s the sticky foam.

Foam won’t stick to grease. Do the foam test without the grease and see what happens lol

First thing I done when I got my dewalt table saw was check the blade was tightened properly and then I made a take off table for the back of the saw bed , Essential if you are cutting long lengths of timber or any type of sheet materials,

Very good video. I’m 82 now and have been doing DIY and woodworking projects for about 50 years. My first table saw was a 1940’s cast iron Sears saw my father-in-law gave me. It used to kickback magnificently since the fence would never stay aligned from one cut to the next. Over the many years I have owned everything from that saw to a new Delta Unisaw, with a power feeder mounted on it. My small (but mighty) shop now has a contractor’s 10” DeWalt with the rack & pinion fence. It is a great saw, dials in and holds perfectly and has enough power to do most of what I need it to do. After watching Stumpy Nubs (James Hamilton) video about saw safety (and his great piece showing kickbacks) I finally got serious about safety, bought a guard (since I had thrown dozens away) made some good push sticks and got very religious about trying to do all of things you need to do to be safe. Then, a few weeks ago, I was doing many rips of a pile of narrow lumber (no guard possible) and yes, being very mindful…but then I stepped around the saw to clear the rear feed table, I semi-tripped on some stuff on the floor and involuntarily braced myself on the saw. My hand wound up inches away from the spinning blade, since I had forgotten to turn the saw off! That scared the crap out of me and made me aware that no matter how careful you think you are being and how experienced you are, you will always screw up. I use my saw daily for every project I do, even including most lathe work, so an accident is probably inevitable no matter how careful I am. This afternoon after watching your video, I bit the bullet, and ordered the Compact SawStop. This wasn’t easy, since I am retired on Social Security, and do watch every penny, but your video and others and the many comments of your fans convinced me that pride goes before a fall and the cost of fixing a mutilated hand is way beyond what the new saw will cost. So, thanks to you for prodding me into doing something smart…and quite possibly saving me from a terrible accident. Keep the great videos coming, young man!

Hi Jack. Great video. So much so that I went to buy it on Amazon along with the Fine Wood Blade 60T in my basket, but when I went to use the SUMERAYBLADE discount code, it said that the promotional code I entered was not valid. Has that now expired or is there a new code available to use? Cheers, David

I'm lucky, we're allowed 30m2 without planning permission. That's enough for a small garage, put a tool shed next to it, 10m2 and I've got a great setup. I would definitely put re bar in any slab more than 2m in any one direction. Well worth the cost for the extra strength.

I got the same issue as mentioned in the comments already. Blade can be raised little bit over 5cm before the riving knife housing start lifting the insert. Im not sure how can you raise it all the way up with the 11mm plate.
