@XLOGIC-LLC I appreciate the input. I've used the t2 and comp m2 for over 20yrs now. Just started getting astigmatism issues. Looking at the 1x or 2x glx as a replacement.

@@ChappySinclair The 1x is fast up close but limited past 300 the 2x is a little slower but will get you hits on ipsc size targets out to 500 if you zero per instruction and do your part. For CQB the ACSS Cyclops is fast! For do it all the ACSS CQB-5 is nice so depending on what you’re after.

I've got two Eotechs. With my stigmatism I can't see either one of them. I purchased the Primary Arms sight and love it.

Not for me. Eotech is barely usable meanwhile a Sig Romeo 8H/8T, Promethean LP1, and ACSS holosuns are a lot less fuzzier to me.

Absolutely true. I used to be an atn fan, but after 2 scopes dying in less than a year and finding that my new agm 640 is much clearer than the atn 1280, I doubt I will even buy any from atn ever again.

Hi I'm shooting a high-powered pellet rifle. Realistically most of the time I'm going to be shooting maximum 400 yards maybe 500 yards. In terms of a lightweight x-44 which model would you recommend and do you think having less elevation with the lightweight Scopes is going to be an issue at maximum 500 yards shooting. I'm not a hunter I'm a Target shooter / Marksmanship

I’m not really sure how much elevation you’d need for a pellet gun, and at those distances. I’d imagine you want max elevation…

Why l'll never use the Arken SH4 Gen 2 4-16x50mm scope. KZbin The Social regressive. Scroll forward to the 12-minute mark. Perhaps the Japanese glass is better? He returned one of his Scopes and they gave him another one it was a little bit better but still not usable. Have you noticed any problems shooting in bright sunlight chromatic aberration?

@@surreallife777sounds like it. Maybe they had a bad batch of scopes and he got both from there. Only issue with Arkens I’ve run into was turret caps coming loose on the earlier gens.

@@Colorado4x4 scope mount? Depends on your budget. I really like badger ordinance, area 419, that being said I’ve used the mounts that came with my Arken scopes and they work too. But gun to my head I’m getting badger/area 419/spuhr

@@Colorado4x4 I just put a pic rail on the forend and I had the pic rail version Harris. Clips on. You could go arca and for that I believe 419 makes an arca adapter for Harris as well. I know they make them for the atlas bipods.

I very much appreciate this. Ordered a LH-4 because I like low profile turrets. I really regretted not getting the Japanese glass and positive turrets. You put my mind to ease that i got the right one for myself.

One thing you said that I don’t agree with is that HRF is the budget friendly option. 57 bucks for a piece of 3d printed plastic is not budget friendly, especially when they break so easily. If anything it’s an overpriced rip off. Btw I have the PMM and it’s held up without any issue in the past 12 months on a rifle I beat the shit out of.

Far as I'm aware, barrel length should have no real affect on accuracy. Assuming everything is dialed in.

Correct. Shorter barrels can sometimes help. More rigid.

@@ADudeAndSomeGuns For sure helps with whip. But simple things can be tweaked to work around this (on longer barrels). I think the main thing is having a quality barrel, and then making tweaks to load development, ect to dial it in. But run a gun you just throw whatever ammo into, I think the shorter barrel would be at an advantage in accuracy if it were put agains an identical but longer barrel in the same scenario. Granted, different load will likely have different grouping POI, but that's another thing.
