Interesting thing about the North v South debate is that the the ends of England often forget about the Midlands in that class (in which we most ardently defend out Midland status')- Nottingham, Derby line classed as East midlands and Coventry, Birmingham line the west midlands. Of course anyone from outside will just call us whatever they deem to be north or south of them :) Although i do not think we hold many similarities with the south as a Midlander myself, and would much rather be classed as a Northerner than otherwise :D

Rossia (more correct way to call it Moscovia) has nothing shared with Kyiv Rus but stolen root of the country s name. Kyiv Rus - Rus-sia. It was a trick in 18 century made by their tsar Petr 1 who stated to develop new language - rossian language, and who renamed thier country from Moscovia to Rus-sia to steal the real history of the Kyiv Rus. This fraud was pretty mush successful… but it does not change the fact that Moscovia does not related to Kyiv Rus
