@peterrivera6808 fair enough... definitely doesn't discourage me bro... I take our trade extremely seriously... if anything I want to post more content but I put the job above videos... it's all good... It's kind of funny because I get it... our job looks easy, but most of the time our spacing is tight and our durations are fast paced... so it's easy to pick our work apart... there isn't really much attention to what we do, despite its importance...and it's time to redefine the entire trade... I'm happy to have you here, no hard feelings!
@wrappnalaskan25 күн бұрын
@peterrivera6808 do you like doing board and canvas? Up here outside air ducts are critical because of the temperature... zero room for error... I'll post a video for you tomorrow of the job I'm currently on... some sweet duct work...you'll dig it!
@peterrivera680825 күн бұрын
I like it all! I’m in Southern California, our methods are very different than up in Alaska. I have never done canvas, to me it’s an old school method. Been a union insulator for 13 years now. I’m used to using board glass and aluminum 0.16 with corner angle on roof duct. I’m going to be doing allumiguard on roof duct next week. It will be my first time. Should be fun! If I had to take my pick, I like small plumbing jobs or duct wrap jobs. I miss the small jobs. I’ll look out for your video homie!

@wrappnalaskan8 ай бұрын
If i wear a respirator its for the space im in not the fiberglass... ive had muktiplr lung function tests over the years with no problems... and ive actually been shown by a doctor how these modern materials are made with fibers that are big and easily caught by our bodys natural defenses before they can get into the lungs Asbestos is a concern on older work sites but we rarely do anything with those existing systems

@wrappnalaskan9 ай бұрын
Thanks man...I've been into these for 20 years now lol... this one is a total sleeper...the engine is fully built...standalone...you name it... The hardest thing to get the turbo manifold... you can find the OBX "log style" T3 manifold for the second and 3rd gen heads but they are very basic...and if you want to make big power you'll need a custom intake manifold to accommodate a bigger throttle body... and that cost a few grand easy... I chopped a stock manifold...TIG welded a larger plenum and flange for my 80mm TB and it was $750 Other than those 2 things, you can get H-beam Scat forged rods through Summit and Carillo Pistons will make you a forged set at what ever compression ratio you want.. And if you want to go REAL BIG you can send your factory block to Golden Eagle and they'll re-sleeve it for around $2K Tuning a standalone is mandatory Took me 2 years and $20K but this car eats STi's and Chargers all day
