No buttlap on fittings or staples on the pipe covering laps?

It's heat pipe...the fittings are doubled tack'd and laps are painted... Staples are unnecessary my dude

I'm a rookie insulator, I searched for helpful videos about our trade and found yours, would like to know which knife do you use?

I use victornox steak knives... They are the best in my opinion

@@wrappnalaskan Thank you, would buy one. I've been four months in this trade, working on sites in Toronto and nearby areas. My seniors here doesn't seem to have (Or they just don't bother explaining me) a lot of experience in this trade. They just tell me to wrap all the drains with duct wrap, and DOUBLE WRAP the bends and couplings. Gets so dusty haha 🤧, I always have to use a dust mask. Anyways, they tell me to wrap a lot of unnecessary things which the plumbers later told me not to wrap. So I would really like to learn more about it from some good journeyman like you ☺️.
