Amazing video coach I was doing workout 6 days a week and playing volleyball for all seven days and I used to wonder even though I am discipline and hardworking why am I not better than many players in my area I think I should reduce my workout to 3 days a week .

I want to play volleyball. I am 39 years old. Am I to old for volleyball? 2 teams in my region already rejected me, because I don't fit in their teams because of the gap in my experience. And I guess u can't be trained with the youths. Well, I would not mind being trained with 12 year old kids. Even they are probably better than me.

Surprisingly my indoor approach looks more like a beach approach. And it’s mainly cause it helps me overcome the fact that my steps are slow and clumsy. Is it ok to keep it like that ?

The only one I never understood was starting in a seated position. What value does it add to the exercise if you're not on your feet before the jump starts?

@santex.editss4372 But does the same thing not happen on all plyometrics? I'm just trying to reduce the amount of exercises in my own program and trying to figure if this one is essential when I can use standing plyos too

👍 this is a great program that All/Some athletes should use. It has helped with my physique + health, I have gained a big amount of improvement through this program with an 93cm vertical jump (36 inch) at 15 years old with a height of 5'5 . Keep up the great!

Thats incredible wow! Any tips on how can get that vert? My vert is average rn and im 5,6.
@The_Real_Riko-C92 ай бұрын
@@User-ho8ws Firstly you want to establish a workout regimen that suits your needs. If you want to increase your vertical jump, you must understand what muscles you are using. For example, your quadriceps, glutes, calves, Achilles, and your ankle. These muscles/tendon must be worked in order to increase vertical jump. I find that isometric workouts help with knee pain which helps me specifically jump higher. I also like to do eccentric movements which I think also improves vert. If this helps let me know and stay dedicated 👍

I was getting impinchment symptoms/ pain in my shoulder from heavy overhead pressing. Started doing this the last week as a warmup and was now able to return to pain free pressing movements. Definitely a great exercise

So should we do strength training instead in season? So heavy Squats, Bulgarian split Squats etc? Me for example I have 3 practices a week with 1 game a week, so I thought about planning it like 2 full body strength days, 1 upper body and 1 lower body? All strength and stability rather than plyos

The only good exercises in this Video are the shoulder exercises. All of these chest/ Push/ bizeps exercises have nearly zero Impact on your arm swing and are kind of time waste. Train your core and do exercises that mimic your arm swing. Have fun :)
