I will never buy crap Halo lights again. Every time the power goes out i can't get the dimmer switch to connect and work. I finally gave up trying tk connect the damn dimmer.
@AroundTheHome1
@AroundTheHome1 18 сағат бұрын
They are not crap. They are just not made for dimmer switches. Yes they can be used with dimmers, but the whole idea is to be switched over form the spot light to the halo ring with a regular switch.

This is the one we had. It stopped closing softly and part of the underside is scratched a lot and there’s crap(literal) stuck in it, gross lol(under the seat)So we have an elongated one and I got a mayfair version but they look almost identical. I have no idea how to install one. Usually my dad did it and now that I’m married my husband does it but I want to do it myself now lol

Did your use the bleach water for the dirty areas, but then use soap afterwards?
@AroundTheHome1
@AroundTheHome1 Күн бұрын
In my situation it was kind of everywhere, so I used bleach for the whole floor. While bleach is technically a soap, it's not a good smelling one. If you do use a soap afterwards you have to be absolutely positive that it will not react negatively with the bleach. Especially anything containing ammonia. The best thing to do is just rinse it really, really good with just plain water.

I have my SIL’s Dc10 here with a stuck tube, now I have caressed, massaged , prodded,poked,pushed,pulled, spoked harshly and softly to it, swore at it even and it won’t come off, next step is a hacksaw and a new tube. Btw, someone has fiddled with replacing the button on the tube before I got it. Thanks for the video.

After factory reset, how much time does it take fridge to cool or feel cool at 35f? My fridge has same tab and not cooling upper portion.. tray inside at bottom is cooling.. and freezer is working too.. Will this factory reset fix the issue?
@AroundTheHome1
@AroundTheHome1 2 күн бұрын
Well, actually mine stopped cooling altogether. Sounds like yours might be froze up. I would suggest moving the food to a cooler or something to keep it safe and then do this. Unplug the fridge then open the back panel. Clean the coils off with either a vacuum or a blower, and with the doors open let it thaw all the way out overnight. Doing a factory reset after doing this would probably be good too. I hope this helps and good luck.

Thanks for the review..for as much as the EGO battery cost sure a person would hope to find a comparable replacement but trying to match quality and performance sometimes isn't worth the risk..i would rather have the quality and that 70 dollar difference seems more like aggravation and not worth it to me..i was tempted to go the route but glad i didn't..might be ok for a weed eater though..

Have this same model, it's 5 yrs old. Lost all my food to this issue. Tried the rest it didn't work. Cleaned out the back, especially the coil (it's delicate, be careful) it's the main thing back there covered with dust and it worked! It's working great now! 1st I wanted to bash the product but honestly I have not cleaned it in 5yr and I had it all the way back against the wall with not much room for circulation.

Can you have a hose on the drain and use the wet-vac as a pump? I need to vacate 200G of water from an aquarium and don't want to wait for gravity to do it.
@AroundTheHome1
@AroundTheHome1 13 күн бұрын
Well I don't think so. Since this is a vac, and not a pump, as soon as you open the drain plug while it is running it will suck from that point as well.

I am having the same problem. I just got the V 12 for a Christmas gift. From the beginning, it was hard to remove the wand. I was able to use the vacuum, remove the tube to empty the bin, put the tube back. Now, I cannot remove the tube at all. I tried your suggestions, but the tube does not budge. I am so frustrated!!!

The shroud may help keep dirt away from the cylinder extension and seal so it slides in clean and lasts longer. My 20 year old cheapo has disintegrated but amazingly the cylinder's still good. I just realized I can use it on my replacement chair with a failed cylinder.

So if you put in a 20 amp outlet you will need a 20 amp circuit breaker correct?
@AroundTheHome1
@AroundTheHome1 16 күн бұрын
No, not at all. The 20 amp outlet is just a higher quality, more heavy duty outlet. If you are on a 15 amp breaker the breaker will still pop if more then 15 amps is pulled, it just means that the outlet will more then handle the strain. A standard 15 amp outlet costs less then $1, while the 20 amp costs like over $3. There are just better components in it so that is why I recommend using it when you have a very high amp pulling device like a heater. The outlet isn't pulling the power, just the device. I hope that makes sense.

Oh man I was hoping this video would show how to take the actual blades out I can’t seem to figure out how to get those two screws loose .
@AroundTheHome1
@AroundTheHome1 16 күн бұрын
Yeah, maybe I should have done that. I was just afraid that if I did that then people would be like why didn't I also take the motor off too. So I stopped there on purpose because you can easily take a rag and wipe the blade off. Also, there is more then one type of retainer for these blades. Some have a set screw on the side, others have a spring clip inside the blade so all you do is pull it off.

Question about changing oil on chainsaw. If i am not using chainsaw for a while to drain old oil from chainsaw. From where? Should it be drained from same area where it was provided?
@AroundTheHome1
@AroundTheHome1 16 күн бұрын
Well I have to ask you a question. What kind of motor is on your saw? This is obviously an electric saw, but I also have a Husqvarna saw as well. The Husqvarna is a two stroke motor so there is no oil reservoir to change out. Only 4 stroke motors have that. Is yours a two stroke or a 4 stroke?
