Just as an update a year later. It’s still my favorite mod on the Tesla. Love using the app to open and close this thing. If I’m getting food it’s going in the frunk ! People are impressed with the auto function as most don’t have it.

2018 Honda CR-V Ex: turned over but shift would not come out of P/N with both letters flashing on top of each other, all dash dummy lights blinking. Turns out the Harness wire was 'cut'. I don't have mice, squirrels, hamsters, or such critters. Found it is located in the fire wall behind the brake. Now who the heck designs a car with wires behind the brake/gas pedals which are constantly compressed and released? Apparently not that unusual a problem. Major repair, add 2 recalls including a fuel pump. Las Honda in this family.

Thank you for showing a bolt which holds the bumper to the fender, I didn't think that there is one. I need to replace the fender on the DS (2009 Nissan Sentra). But I can't open the door, it was hit and bent inside. The bolts which hold the fender are exposed, so I think maybe to remove the fender without opening the DS door. Do you think it is possible, or better force the door w/pry bar and open it 1st? I would appreciate any opinion on this matter. The film is great, thank you.

I would try to get that door open without damaging the door itself if possible.

@@EATSLEEPJD Thank you for the replay. The door is damaged to the extend that it should be just replaced, I think. Do you happen know if such door (dent is about 12 in wide and 1.5 in in depth) can be straighten somehow, and who can do it?

@@EATSLEEPJD Unfortunately there are some, going deep inside on the bottom of the door, more to the lower door hinge. That door hinge is turned from its normal position. Will I be able to turn it back, so I can attach another door? I think maybe you accounted such situation, when there is a need to straighten that or upper hinge. Thank you.

You have to check pressure. CRV doesn’t have pressure monitoring to display.

One way to avoid is to warm up your car. Getting the engine temperature high can prevent the high fuel pressure from leaking past the piston ring. As the ring will expand with temperature rise and better seal. Also warming at idle reduces fuel in the cylinder because at low rpm fuel is released in small amounts. I suspect people with lead foot and no patience to warm up the car are more familiar with this problem.

I wonder if the direct injection compressor does not vary the pressure to compensate for engine temperature. As temperature rise pressure in the cylinder rises and the direct injection fuel needs pressure high enough to overcome the cylinder pressure. But when the cylinder temperature is low than the direct injection fuel pressure should be lower to compensate for the lower temperature and thereby reduce the chance of fuel getting passed the piston ring.
