Honestly speaking, if Selena is still alive JLo won't be that famous cuz she becomes famous by doing Selena's in the movie. Before that, I didn't know who JLo was. Jlo got all the attention after Selena's death and she utilized it very smartly and still utilizing it. It becomes a win-win situation for her cuz I still feel that JLo doesn't have a good voice like Selena herself but better dancer for sure which she was before becoming a singer. Jlo took good advantage of it and it is good for her. In fact, JLo is a businesswoman, not a real singer. I heard JLo doing a tribute to Selena at a concert by performing, 'I Could Fall In Love With You' .. and it wasn't BAD .. and in fact, she pulled it off in the technical sense .. timing, intonation, dynamics, and the even tone production was mostly there .. I can't say JLo is without her own unique timbre. But it totally lacked the emotional input that Selena always committed to her vocals .. she was always 100% committed to the emotions in every word she sang and it made her voice inimitably unique. God, I miss hearing what she would have done next ... she could make grown men cry with her fabulous voice!

I'll never forget the last time I was in Texas it was to attend my brothers graduation from Air Force basic training. And I remember the next day was a family day and my family and I were all in our rental car going towards downtown San Antonio. As SELENA said in an interview once, "I travel with my love on the bus." No wonder he never forgot her. I hate what happened to them but glad to see Chris try to move forward in his life.
