Would that leg press work for someone 6’4”?

Interesting question, being that I’m 5’7” it’s hard to know.. but I latch the safety’s in the middle spot and I would say height wise it’s comparative to ones in commercial gyms. The only thing is the foot plates aren’t as big as those.

They want $400 for that bench?!? They need to realize that Rep, Rogue and many other MUCH better heavy duty quality FID benches are worth that much. This is pretty overpriced, they need to slash it by $150 to $200 as there are plenty of budget benches for that much on Amazon and amongst competitors.
@MarkPMaguire
@MarkPMaguire 14 күн бұрын
editing a full length video now to address some of these issues. Looking at the Bells of Steel Buzz saw has similar attachments.. And this one being fixed to bench makes its use as an adjustable bench pretty difficult.

@@MarkPMaguire Nice! I respect any call outs. We've gotta keep these companies accountable. We can only do that with honest feedback and inform potential buyers so that our wallets speak. I respect being a budget brand and making some sacrifices to things like strength of steel, finish quality, or even some functionality... but to price things like you are mid to high tier equipment or claim that you're just as good when clearly it's not? That's where I take issue. You guys doing reviews or promoting items are the first line of defense for a lot of us buyers and I have massive respect for anyone who can recognize the good, the bad and the ugly for any product. I also love the tips and tricks to improve the limitations of the equipment; like the loop bands on the curls or leg extentions; excellent idea to make it a fair bit better.

I wish that pad was a good 6 to 8 inches wider so you could actually try and use it with a barbell or wider grip attatchements and if possible remove the leg extension/preacher handle so you could use dumbells or barbells in its place with the pad. Otherwise its good, but not great.
@MarkPMaguire
@MarkPMaguire 15 күн бұрын
Ya quite a few cons with the design, lack of range of motion being number one for me. Also, If utilizing dumbbells, it’s hard to use the bench for regular use, having to climb into the seat if that makes sense. So if the leg extension/leg curl was removable to add to the versatility like you said.

The free motion arms look pretty cool.. I feel bells of steel with the aluminum pulleys would be my choice out of these 3 options. We shall see, either way, the functionality, value, and compact design of these things cannot be understated.

Are you testing my manhood… um a 45 and a 25 on both sides, the bar itself is only 15-20lbs so take that into an account. Feels rock solid, with additional weight plates on the weight horns and trolley for the lat pull down/low row. Expecially if you are squatting heavy I would add additional weight to stabilize machine.

I don’t know if that’s a good or a bad thing.. lol I gave the specs, some benefits for use, and my opinion on it. I wrote a script to help me stay on track so maybe that’s what you are feeling, I feel that alittle bit. But ya this is a budget smith machine with a high/low pulley in a compact design that fits great in my garage gym. That’s unfortunate it didn’t seem genuine to you. Looking to continue reviewing other gym equipment, hopefully you stick around.

Powerblock kettlebell vs iron master kettlebell - which would u choose ?

It feels great, very pleasantly surprised. I would like to get two kettlebells of the same size still, and like there heavy 70LB kettlebell for swings and squats and some other movements. But the 5 different weight increments on this adjustable kettlebell have been great!

I got a lot of use out of both 8-16 kg and 16-24 kg models. They have held up real well. I got duplicates of each to do dbl kb work two yrs later, but haven't gotten around to that. I use the newer ones as sgls, and gotta say that the lighter one's plates have some play, and plate securing mechanism has failed once. (The icons represent the number of 2kg plates for each increment.)

Strongman sandbags are good, but I suggest getting the Cerberus v2 bags because they are cheaper than the Velcro ones. Axel is great. Kb are awesome, but buy them used, because these companies have the lbs overpriced. Dumbbells buy used or even the powerblock.
