If I remember correctly, at some point you find some parts of q Map, and once you got enough you go to the places d there it is the city. The parts of the map you get them by doing quests, its random i think

Hi Thanks for the Reply, I found the answer on GOG forum,: First its NOT Random, you MUST check in with ur governor during the early stage of the game, By early, I mean the first 3 or 4 ranks, he will give you part of the map and its called HIDEOUT MAP. at which point ur search for map sellers begins and finding the piece where X marks the spot, for anyone who has wondered why there has not been a mission to start a city etc... as I did, it's a hideout that turns into ur own private city, it wont actually be a gov saying start ur own city.

If we started back in the early 2000s, those businesses would be being taught to second generations. This game started out w/ 4 nations. You started your own town if another nation wanted to join you could grant them permission to build in your towns / do business at your ports. Your business managers would probably want something in writing though...

Shift. Also don't do what he does during battles. First of, zoom out. Secondly make all your ships assigned to the enemy ships. Then monitor the situation and if you see your ships is behind enemys ships, turn it out and the enemy ships will follow you and you will be in a better position. Then assign your ships to the enemy again. Once you get the enemy ships crew down to minimum hit the second from the left bubble in the top right corner to capture it. You can use this technique getting much bigger ships. When I start the game I get Brig, pick up some crew, get the first Barque. Pick up more crew, get another Barque. Once I have 4 Barques I go after a Galleon. You can see French supply convoy having 4 ship convoy with a Galleon in it. It's easy getting it when you use the right way. After that you can attack basically any convoy you like. You should be able to get this far easily in 15 minutes of playing. After that focus on trade and getting more ships. You can also sell small ships for profit and earn money from it.

@@baldap500 wow thanks for the detailed tips and answer I should try that as soon as possible until now I always focused on trading first although I play england I sometimes just attack one of England's cargo convois to get straight a big ship after having a few carracks or frigates

@@gbactasa @G You're welcome. I think trading is secondary in this game, especially in the beginning when you don't have any money. I mostly play for England as well all the way from the first time era you can choose. Charles Town is a perfect location for the start. Close to Spain, Dutch and French. And I attack our own supply convois too but only to get the Liners. If you're not in the stage when English have Liners attack Dutch and French convoys. 4 ships are easily beatable and you get at least one good ship. Once you can afford 2 convois à 5 good ships, focus on Spanish special convois like the Golden convoy once a year (great ammo supplier) or War convois. Corsaires are also a good way how to get ships and make decent amount of money. Don't forget to attack supply convois only on their way in. They bring the stuff you can't make and is hard to buy.

@@baldap500 yeah i once attacked an huge spanisch convoi just to realize its totally empty 🤣 wasted 7 days for repairing my convoi

@@gbactasa Good tell on any convoy is to multiply # of cannons by 3. If the convoy info doesn't show more cargo than that it's just waste of time. The big supply convois have always half of thier ships armed and the other half unarmed. That's why I suggested to attack supply convois with 4 ships because you usually get a Galleon and one other ship.
